I don't live in Scotland but i have been there several times (i live in the UK), how'd you learn regional scotish. Greer looks really nice, i'm gonna have to download her now, and an interesting story.

Multi regional Scottish, I do live in Scotland and there's a bit of east coast, west coast, north and whatever else in there hahaha. I actually looked to see where the creator came from and the only reason she's getting away with that bad accent is that she has the same career as me, only here it's called makeup artist.

I'm on the west coast. If you ever need scottish translations of your text, let me know hahahaha

Oh, the sim is really pretty

Oh my goodness, she does look incredibly "scottish"... well, *slightly* exaggerated, but still - and awesome job!

Well that's what happens when you're on your own and you're alright at letting nice things go

Thanks guys! I have never been to Scotland. I got the vernacular from romance novels and google. I know it's not perfect, but I didn't expect it to be.

Qualara, just click on Zshare or Sendspace to download at the link I posted.. That hair is from a Chinese site and that's why I linked the Blog. It's much easier to get.

Sorry if you think that way, but my great grandmother and father were from Scotland. She sounded pretty much like that. Very thick accent, and used sayings that Americans don't know.

If anyone else has a problem with my vernacular, please PM me and help me improve it. Or make suggestions here, not flame my download.

This thread is not for putting me down. But Thanks or FEEDBACK!

Lovely looking Sim, Sisaly.

For an American who has never lived in Scotland, I think you did a good job with trying to get the vernacular. Anyway, it was just to create the atmosphere around this sim, not to be nitpicked about.

I feel honoured, a Spanish magazine wants to feature my Desperate Housewives and Will Smith in their feature on celebrity sims.

LOL - i've never gone to Scotland, but i think you've done a pretty nice characterization job. And Greer is also quite a cutie IMO. Thumbs up.

Winning the Game
Don't be absurd. This is an EA game! What's to win? You have already lost 50 bucks when you bought a game that contains even less than TS2 base game, and you're gonna spend ten times more if you want to get all the features that you enjoyed in TS2!

Your presentation, including the phraseology, is perfect for setting the mood for this beautiful Sim. I was completely enthralled.

Most of the wording seems to be from Morayshire or thereabouts ^^. Then again we'd say 'quine' instead of 'lassie' here so, I'm not too sure!
At least it sounds a lot like my next door neighbour anyway.

Great job!

She's a very pretty sim but...I think you've laid the "accent" on a little bit thick. I live in Glasgow and I'm not sure if I should be offended or amused :D
