This house is very, very loosely based on your house in the obscure Playstation 2 game, Chu<3Lip. The house is boxed in by fences, has a tiny yard to one side, and consists of a kitchen, bathroom, and small living area with a table. I really liked this house- the layout of the yard and the tiny tiny size of the home itself. I like having them in my town.
The concept here is that a similar house was expanded upon- perhaps even the same house. Made a bit wider, and given a second floor.
It may not be factually accurate to what a real home of this style would look like...there's no Japanese furniture to work with, so instead it is chinese inspired.
The Hair and Moustache House, named for its pagoda roofs, is a small-but-still-roomy home with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The living and dining area are one room, connected directly to a kitchen. There are two bathrooms, one of which is private and used for the bedrooms, the other open to visitors.
Outside is a garden in disrepair. The inside of the house has held up fine without anone living inside, but the outside has become overgrown. The pond has many bushes around it, though that's not too bad.
The issue is really with the garden. The garden has dandelions(as does the yard) and weeds. Weeds also show up around the bushes by the pond, as well as all the way around the back of the house, between it and the fence.
Unfortunately, ground painting doesn't cost anything in The Sims 3, so the only real way you need to "renovate" this is to use the garden properly and grow some plants in it, and maybe fix the aging brick fence. This is meant to be an economical house. Small in size and mostly self-subsisting.
The home costs 26,390 furnished and 21,290 unfurnished. It doesn't have much. It doesn't need much.
