Hi, I was wondering if you knew where I could find a tut on making stuff into glass? Or if you could make one? I want to make glass objects but I have NO IDEA HOW!!! I already have S3OC and S3PE and all I know about them is what they're meant for, I can clone objects now I know where they are and also I can find the textures on the objects in S3PE but that is IT!!!

BTW I downloaded the glass walls, they're in my house of excellence.

I wrote a tutorial on how to make things into glass and how to change the color of your glass object You can find it here:

http://www.modthesims.info/showthre...t=374473&page=1

To do it you'll also need the S3ObjTool but it's really pretty easy.

I'm glad you like the glass walls.

Thank you very much for these, they're great! Do you take requests? If so, could you make 2 glass walls like the glass that surrounds the cheap shower? I've wanted to do some walls that look like that (the semi-see-through-glass-blocks) since Sims 3 came out, but had no idea how to do it. If you know how to and wouldn't mind doing it, it sure would be great! Thanks again for these great glass walls!

Not having a sig IS my sig. Oh wait, this is a sig, isn't it? Nevermind...

I can't wait to see this is game, thank you for something so useful
(esp useful for beachy houses I will never be able to afford in real life, LOL!)
To those that say game crashes with installer monkey-I don't use it!
...well I am not an expert at all the things with this game, but I will say I overcame my "fear" of CC for Sims 3..& I no longer have any issues. It all shows up & works fine-so far

CC is so easy to put into game now. If its not a sims3pk, & instead is pkg files that look similar to Sims 2 CC, just make yourself a folder in your computers Documents/Sims 3 area (call it "Mods" -without the quotations of course. Throw in the " Resource.cfg " file (sorry I dont have a link to it, but its very easy to find) Then create a "Packages" folder to throw in all the CC pkg files that are NOT S3 pks.
Also, whenever you need to update the game launcher, temporarily remove the "Mods" folder to desktop or wherever BEFORE you let it update. Once done updating, put it back. (I forgot once, & it was a mess, LOL)
But now game works great, no problems, & I have every expansion & stuff pack thru Outdoor Living Stuff.
Sorry I can't help more.
But I also want to thank the CC creators for making me enjoy the sims game so much more....
