I tried it on a new neighborhood with nothing in it. The roads didn't change, there were still sidewalks. The only thing different was the terrain. What did I do wrong?

Deatherella: I tested this mod in two games - one with NL/OFB/Seasons and another with every expansion. It worked in both. Just drop it into your downloads folder and load the game to automatically see the change in any grass terrain neighborhood (existing or new). I cant imagine why it wouldnt work other than a conflicting mod?

Thanks for making this! I assume that if you use this mod with an existing neighborhood, you have to first delete and then replace the road and sidewalks directly in front of the houses when you are playing each house. I did have a problem: I used the moveobjects on cheat to delete the roads and sidewalks, but when I used the stone road tiles you provided to match, it didn't look like it should. The road tiles appeared to be perpendicular to the house, rather than running parallel and seamlessly. I am not sure how to fix this, both of the included floor coverings included did the same. Thank you for your time and I hope that that made sense.

I seem to be having the same problem as the above poster...is there some special trick to laying down the roads? Otherwise, they end up looking like this. --> http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/...9a_d89e7f18.jpg

Road Problem Fixed = Redownload rar file!

Ok, apparently I included the road tiles only going in one direction in the original file. I don't know what I was thinking. The .rar has been updated to include road tiles going in both directions so that you may fix the road on your lots. So, you should see 4 floor packages in the folder.

Hopefully this work for you guys now...I tested and I was successful at removing/replacing the roads.

*Also note that whether you start with a fresh lot or an existing lot you must delete the in-game asphalt road and replace with my floor tiles. The road will not change automatically.

Would it be too hard to make this replace the concrete terrains, I already have your dirt roads for my grassy neighborhood and I really want to make an upscale medieval downtown with stone roads. Please?

Also thank you so much for all you medieval contribution!

Yes, in the next week I was going to work on the concrete terrain. I have several ideas for that because I want my 'downtown' to be a proper medieval town/city, while the regular hood is the rural area with farms and village life.

it looks awesome, and I had it installed ofr quitesome time, its a really good mod, but I now want to get back to the basic roads. There's the problem.

I tryed to delete it, and I deleted every file of it, I checkt with as well the old as the new version, and all files are gone, but still when I open the sims its there. Any idea how to delete it and get back to the basic roads, grass and side walks? I'm pretty sure I have this mod.

I'm using this on my game right now. Everything looks great on neighborhood mode but when I move to an active lot, the lot's road is still Maxis road and I can see the replacement one on both sides where my lot ends. The grass still works fine on the active lot though.
I'm running the Ultimate Collection so I can't really run the conflict tool .-.
