I find it somewhat ironic that you used items that were meant to be modern in your 70s home. But hey, it works!

Hey, the 70's were cool, man! A few of us actually remember them.

It would be highly unusual, however, for a house from the 70s to have a detached garage. I mean, until the oil embargo during Jimmy Carter's administration, people adored their big cars. It really was the age of the muscle car -- and the car was as much a part of the family as the kids.

Heh, well, it's more of a home made on the INSIDE to be 70s. I have no idea what a 70s house would look like on the outside, so its really all deco in that regard.
