:offtopic:
What about lousy 40 years, you youngster?!
I got the sims2 from my adult daughters and my sons in law enabled my computer, so she (yes, my computer is female and has a name and she and me are talking to each other ) got quick enough for sims2. They are really happy now, because there is no mum anymore asking to see them.
My husband LOVES the sims - no time for his wife to spend money any more in decorations for our home, because I'm too busy with building and decorating my sims' homes. And he can sit down in the evening instead of moving the real furniture, because I move the furniture of my sims. :D
And my 14-year old son is rather glad too. No mum looking in his ears or his room anymore. (Too busy with the sims.)
I am sure: the sims2 are made for elderly ladies, so the family has some moment's peace . . .
