The taglines on your pictures always make me laugh. "Are we not men?" is still my favorite though.

I hesitate to ask what a budget geisha does. Dress up for Halloween is my hopeful guess.

Love the look of this, and am especially excited about the eyeliner - anything to help with the eyes, them in combination with the teeth and i can make my buddies grandma from Vietnam.

Heh, very nice. The blackened teeth always creeped me out a little on real geisha but I think I might use these anyways. Thanks for the set!

Just noticed the eyeliner. I do something different. Made a blush that goes no under eyemakeup, and makes the eyelid look uncreased. So you can give any sim an Asian eyelid and wear regular eye makeup over it. Just thought I'd let you know in case you decide to make more geishas or makeup for Asian sims, maybe you'll have some even better ideas. You always come up with such nifty stuff.

Just so. My budget geisha runs a tiny coffee/tea shop. But the get up was only for halloween in my mind.

I'm a big fan of pure genetic faces with minimal make-up. I edit pretty much all my sims in Milkshape now to get the eyelid shape right even with different skins. My next project is CAS templates to make those subtle shifts available to every one without huge amounts of make-up. Huge fun! Thanks much!

Cat: I'm going through and fixing ALL the templates, making them the way they should have been to represent the face types they were meant to. And probably a few extra non-defaults for other quirks Maxis doesn't have time to get. (More than one asian template).

Somebody's been eating too much licorice XD. Amazing how standards of beauty differ and change with time and place, eh? Apparently in the Heian era, natural teeth were considered gross and creepy-looking, go figure. I wonder what's in the tooth black that geisha and maiko use now, hopefully something less gross than metal filings and ashes.

You know, I think I like this better than any of the not-so-budget geisha makeup around. It's very realistic and sort of "wabi-sabi".

I just wish I had better things for my Sims to wear with it. Oh, woe.
