I did not count on my comment to receive a reply and forgot all about it. I checked my hacks folder and I did have Cyjon's mod. I'll delete it and check if that solved it. Thank you.

Edit: I removed Cyjon's mod but sims still have a permanent smile plastered on their face when I create a non-student family.

Never to late, people still play the Sims 2. Thanks for this!

With toddlers, I don't mind the blinking but is there a way to stop toddlers moving their head down? I go to change the hair and most times I am looking at the top of their head so i have to keep going in and out until they are looking at least half way reasonably at me.

joandsarah, I haven't noticed, because I don't edit toddlers much in CAS. You may want to have a look at Cyjon's No CAS Idles.
His mod will conflict with mine, but since it's supposed to stop all idles (not just the face), I think it may solve your problem.

I have UC. I downloaded this and while it did stop all the idle actions, my sims were stuck with a smile on their face. I tried going out of CAS and back in, changing the faces, to no avail. So I just had to uninstall it. Seems like it would be fabulous though if it worked for me.

Has anybody been able to get this mod working if Cyjon's mod was NOT the problem?
I took Cyjon's mod out after reading about the conflict but it didn't change anything. I'm kind of desperate now because editing your sim's features like that is impossible. Does anybody have another idea?

I have the same problem. I don't know why but it's annoying...
