Is this lot really for base game? I see a lot of furniture that wasn't packaged with the original Sims 3. If it's not, will it work with the base game anyway?

This is not just for base game, the blue bed is from ambitions, and plant on the red stand is from WA.

Anyways, i think you have A LOT of potential as a creator,

Lets first point out the positives,

The kitchen is beautiful, clean classy and matches nicely,

The entry hall stair case is beautiful.

The living room colors are also nice!

I also like how throughout the entire house you mostly followed the same color scheme.

Things to work on,

I in the entry hall, the wall colors are not matching, it would look better if they were the same,

I noticed a lot of mix designs, (modern, traditional, craftsman.) When you build a home, you should focus on one....And only one. All the pieces have to go together, for example, in the living room, you have couches with straight backs, (very clean and modern) But then you have a VERY traditional chair next to it. it would be better if the two matched styles.

For the exterior,

Again, you just tried to put to many styles together, if you had focused on one particular style, it would have turned out much better, if you are going to build a modern home, make sure the windows are modern, the door is modern, the roof lines are modern, if you are going to build traditional, make sure all the other pieces fall into that category.

I hope this helps some...No hurt feelings...hopefully? (:

I did not use any Custom content but yes i used ambitions and WA stuff - my issue was when i had to click the boxes off each time i made an edit and i dont know if its me or if i forgot them the last time (my first upload on MTS so i appologize) If i can go back and edit I will. **i did change it so it shows up Ambitions and WA** sorry about that

And Tyu, no hurt feelings at ALL!! i totally get what you are saying. Im not very good on doing exteriors so that i know i need to improve on, also landscaping is not my forte either. Sometimes on the interior i tend to get a little carried away in my fav colors and just objects i like, as opposed to objects that go together style wise. I've made so many lots for my game with CC and im trying really hard to get away from that. I love creating lots and thank you for your feedback, both positive and needing improvement.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I absolutely love this house. I really love the kitchen. But what I love most is that it was made without CC. So thankies

good.(: i was hoping you would not be mad. It all comes with practice. There is a tutorial on thesimsupply.com on basic landscaping, i would def. Check out. (: and i know what you mean about the cc. Love it...but never use it. Im thinkin about posting some tutorials on how to start building a home... But who has time these days. /:

Best of luck!

Actually, I like the mix of furniture styles. I find that average families don't have perfectly coordinated houses where every furniture style is the same.

For example, I'm sitting on an ikea sectional, looking at a flat screen on an antique buffet.

My bedroom has a big table for a desk, regular bookshelves, and and wrought iron bed... See what I mean?

The only thing is there is no refrigerator in the kitchen.
