Wow this is gorgeous! I can't wait to try it out, it plays on my secret longing to live in a place like this and just live off the land, away from it all.

Update:
Living in this lot is a lot more difficult than I imagined! Though that's really due to shortcomings in the game, not your lot.

The first thing I had to realize was that there was no tub. In Japan the "bath"room is often separate from the toilet-room, so it didn't bother me too much, except I couldn't see where I would put the tub. I ended up putting it in the bedroom, it works pretty nicely there, and even the highest-end tub when recolored in wood looks believable, happy about that.
I also decided to download a mini-fridge, because I have yet to be able to cook anything on those grills, even when I have the ingredients and skill. I've never had a household without a fridge or oven, so I assume you can only cook things that are stored in the fridge, not your inventory? I can't see any other reason why I wouldn't be able to cook hot dogs on the grill when I have the ingredients and it's the proper time of day. In fact, I don't even get the option to buy the ingredients when making it... I have yet to see any option on the grills, which is rather odd.
I also had a little trouble finding a place to put my sculpting station, so many trees on the lot, lol! I worked it out though.

If EA were a little more rural-lifestyle friendly, my dream of a loner, sustainable-living sim could be realized.

Hi KrazyKiKiKat.
I tried to make a good compramise between the style and playability, I had no idea that ingrediants had to be stored in the fridge, not inventory! Sorry about that...
And about the bathtub - that was one of the compramises between playability right there. I kinda figured 'well... there are plenty of community lots to take care of some basic needs easily'.
