So it's been accepted, congratulations! It looks great, both homely and creepy. Loved that nursery! It's like something out of a horror movie is just about to happen.

You want to know the Secret... so did I. Low in the dust I sought it, and on high. No agony of any mortal brain shall wrest the secret of the life of man. The Search has taught me that the Search is vain.

Thanks a lot! I've been playing the house for a few days and you are right - it is somewhat creepy. Didn't really plan it that way though. Must be the constant fog and faded colours that create the atmosphere.

(My sim kid was listening to the music box, it was dark and everybody else in the house was sleeping - I actually got shivers up my spine. Lol.)

I though of the bayou the second I saw it. The color scheme and decor really stood out for me, as well. Great work! Thanks for sharing :-)

This house looks really nice, but it won't install into my game. The sims3pack gives a "success!" message, but it's not in the game itself and it's not even showing in the launcher as an installed file.

I tried extracting the s3pack to a .package format and sticking that in with my other mods, but the house still wouldn't show up.

Hope other people are able to get hold of this house - like I said, it looks neat.

some people have reported that problem with my lots. i don't know what causes it. i use WinRAR to zip the lot.

unfortunately i broke my arm yesterday on an icy street so i can't really type properly atm and give good advice.

there is advice on the thread "bayou bridge cottage" though.

i have to make it without the sims until after the surgery and recovery!

I'm sorry to hear about your arm and I hope you feel better soon. If it's any consolation, this lot is awesome! Seriously, I love it and will be downloading it as soon as I purchase all of the store items that you used. (I don't think that it'd be the same without them.) Thank you very much for sharing this awesome house, and I hope your recovery is quick and painless.
