Thanks for the mod! Well done!!

Any chance of adding a version for just not getting a promotion if you don't meet all the requirements and leaving all the non-active sims as per EA/Story progression default?

Great mod, so realistic. Does this mod also work with Twallan's Story Progression? Thank you.

ocorreia, the EA story progression doesn't use the performance meter for inactive sims, that only happens with certain story progression mods; so the normal version of this mod will do that if you're using EA story progression.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

Sorry, I was not very clear in my post. I am using Twallan's story progression, and I'd like it to keep control on non-active sims funds.

It is my understanding that using this mod, non-active sims could end up with 0 funds or keep the some funds and therefore they wouldn't be able to move to other houses in the neighbourhood etc.. I'm not sure whether twallan's story progression would be able to override it.

ocorreia: Currently this mod will reduce the amount of the salary when the sim exits work, and if you are using a mod that disables them getting paid when not active, you will end up with 0§ at some point. I'll update this mod next weekend, and add the possibility for players to tune the mod and turn off the part of the code that removes the funds being subtracted.

The code for resetting the work performance was not needed at all as EA doesn't increase perfomance for inactive sims.

About story progression, I'll quote buzzler.

Also with EAxian StoryProgression active, sims will be promoted/demoted by StoryProgression. The work perfomance will be completely bypassed then. Also, the vanilla game automagically grants inactive sims the needed skills on promotion.

So, if you are using a story progression mod, that will determine your sims promotions when you are not playing them.

About meeting all requirements, do you mean having to know your boss and be-friend your co-workers?

Ani, thanks for your explanations.

By meeting all requirements, I meant knowing the boss and co-workers, having the requested skills etc.

I will play test it with twallan's SP mod and see what happens to the inactive sims.

Hi Ani,

thanks for a great mod! I have a question: it is possible to tune it so that only inactive household are affected by it? For instance I like my active household to get promoted even if they don't have all skills. thanks again and keep up a great work!

kmonica: Not using the mod is the solution for you. This mod does nothing for in-active households when it comes to work-performance, it only reduces their pay for the day when exiting work. If you don't want them to gain money, when not playing then you could use awesome mod, instead of this.

Ani,

thanks. is there any way you could do the version that prevents inactive households from earning money altogether? I don't think awesome mod has that capability. Besides, I prefer yours anyway. I don't use awesome mod at all.

thanks and keep up a great work!

Hi,
I love this mod and have been using it a long time, but it seems to be incompatible with the nerd/rebel/jock careers. The job performance resets every time the Sim leaves work even if the have all of the requirements maxed. This has happened to me in the rebel career and nerd career multiple time (every time I try). I haven't tried the jock career but I'd assume it would do the same. If you could try to fix this it would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Sorry, didn't notice your reply.
I'll have to take a look, have not tried any of those new careers yet.
