important - that means you should probably read this

Sometime along the way ,probably when pets was added, EA updated how the game routes around roof pieces. Due to this little dilemma the two older versions of this house have routing problems in the attic. Unless you want to take the roof apart ,something that I wouldn't really recommend, you will need to download the file named newcarson . Thank you for bringing this to my attention Rimbaudian.

The roof update doesn't effect the look of the exterior at all.





The exterior is based off of the Carson mansion located in Eureka ,California. I know that the roofline is very strange but it is true to the house. Since I never could find a floorplan, the interior is probably not very true to the real building. Though it is not exact ,I did use some details from interior pics throughout the structure. The house is built to hold a family of any size .
If you like the victorian style you will probably like this house .

I also put a carriage house on the lot because I thought it would be rather sad for a sim to sped over 400,000 simoleans and not get a garage .
