You all must be racist! Or at least that's what you'd all say if some one were posting these kind of comments about Obama! Lets see how far this one gets. How about an Obama dancing on a copy of the Constitution, and wearing a Chinese communist flag t shirt?

Great job on her! Honestly, I don't get all the hatred of her (the person, not the Sim). I grew up in the National Park Service (my dad was a Park Ranger), and I knew quite a few women who were very much like her. They were all strong women who made a big difference in their world, whom I admired a lot.

Perhaps because she isn't a typical politician (liar/schmoozer/manipulator), or perhaps people are listening to the media along with some the more angry and hateful politicians instead of hearing what she is really saying herself. People usually hate what they fear or don't take the time to understand. Perhaps you created her to be hated and tortured by gamers. I just had to speak up and give another perspective on her, since there seems to be a lot of hatred toward her already on this thread. Anyway, you did a good job on the likeness!

Most of the posters are joking around as can easily be gleaned from their tone and their use of diction (e.g., LOL, hehe, etc.), so I think 'hatred' doesn't apply to their comments (not that you were necessarily referring to their comments, but I imagine that's what sparked your post).

As for the general reaction to her by the greater United States population, a lot of people love her and a lot of people can't stand her. As with any outspoken individual with strong political, religious, and social ideals, Sarah Palin is quite the polarizing force. I disagree with her views on everything from the role of religion in government, to foreign policy, to social services reform. However, what annoys me about Sarah (and what I imagine annoys a lot of other people) is her intense lack of knowledge on most of the subjects she chooses to speak (and write) about publicly. When you have to make up words (as Sarah has) or make statements that are patently (and obviously) false, your argument loses legitimacy and so do you. Sarah has a bachelor's degree in JOURNALISM and makes a living depleting what is left of our marine ecosystem, yet she is called onto Fox News as a political commentator(?). Granted, many politicians on both sides of the ideological aisle suffer from her same shortcomings, but a lot of people actually believe her and listen to her, so she has become an icon of ineptitude (and thus a target of the 'hatred' you mentioned).

Perhaps your definition of strength differs from mine, but a strong woman (or man for that matter) is someone secure in their beliefs, capable, and knowledgeable on whatever subject or endeavor they choose to represent or undertake. IMO Sarah does not fit that definition, unless her partially served term as governor has made her an expert on US politics....

Also, I believe all politicians are schmoozers/manipulators, I mean, it's part of the job description (you have to convince people to vote for you if you're running for an electable office, no?)....

Cheers!

http://cnsnews.com/blog/craig-banni...k-liberal-again

I live in easily one of the most liberal/democratic parts of the country, and personally have many, many friends who are very nearly exactly like the guy in the above video (and yeah, I still love them anyway--as misguided as they are at times).

I've had many, many political discussions which had lasted countless hours. It's hard enough trying to discuss these things in person, let along over a page like this. One thing I know is nobody will likely have a heart change from this. But seriously guys, I just encourage you got get informed and knowledgeable and start thinking for yourselves. Quit getting your news from entertainers, comedians and obviously biased government sponsored news media. I suggest at least giving two opposing views a REAL chance first, before making up your own mind on the important issues affecting our country these days.

Nah, Michele's a saint. :-p

But I am making a Sim of Rick Santorum, since Michele dropped out.

And since he's as guilty of insider trading as Newt, torture away if you must. PM me if you want details, as my downloads have another host.

Back on topic...this is a very-well-done Sarah. Though, it looks like you aged her by about 5 years. Then again, I can't get my Santorum Sim to look 100% like the real thing either. So kudos for trying.

You can find me on the Sims 4 Gallery as DozerfleetProd. If you have XBox One or PS4, please test out my creations, and let me know if / how well they work on consoles.

Also, I've started on Michele.. but I'm not going to post her in the feedback forum until she actually begins to take a resemblance haha!

Great likeness for a great lady, politics aside.
And in reply to Fascination, I'm Rep. and refer to him as B-Rock. :3
...
WOW, reading back through the comments, well, all I can say is that people have some serious issues that I'm sure can be cured with medication.
...
Again, lovely sim. Perfect cheek structure!
I would love to see Michelle B. join the lot. She has such lovely features.

Hello so I am from Alaska, born and raised so every one who thinks they know a ton about Sarah Palin just listen for a bit. I remember when she was walking down town in the golden days parade in Fairbanks campaigning for the soon to come election for governor. She was going up and down the street greeting people and shaking hands. She came to me, shook my hand, smiled, and said, " Hi I'm Sarah Palin" and that was that, the only personal interaction I've had with her.

Sarah Palin was elected Governor in December 2006 with Sean Parnel as her vice governor. Sean Parnel was and continues to be a friend of my parents. Not a close friend but they always chat when they run into each other.

Sarah Palin was not a good governor. First point, she never finished her term, bailing to run for vice president before she ever had ever been a governor. She also was quite childish in a lot of ways. She held grudges.I know this because my one of my parents is in the executive level of the Alaska university system, they work closely with the state. The former head of the university system had ounce said 'If I ran for governor, Sarah Palin would be a good vice governor' . Through Alaska newspapers this quote got back to her and she was infuriated. Later when she became governor she iced out the university of Alaska and refused to communicate or discus any business matters with them.

She isn't running for president so nothing is relevant anymore. She is not technically even a politician anymore, she is a celebrity. Saying any different i'm sorry is wrong.

I am not biased I'm Alaskan. Everyone here quickly realized Mrs. Palin didn't have our state's interest at heart and it showed when she ' Went rogue'. Mrs. Palin wasn't even born in Alaska if that can defend my poor ridiculed state in any way, she was not a true Alaskan

- Sincerely,
An Alaskan with common sense.

Am I the only one wanting to set this sim against an Obama sim and let them BOTH do silly things in competition for their mutual LTW? I don't hate the woman, but as a former Alaskan, I can agree with the other Alaskan that posted up here. Honestly, I'm just not fond of politicians in general. Like religious leaders, I don't think it should be a paid position. But anyways, this isn't strictly a 'Thank You' post (though I do wish to thank you, too!) I'm wondering just how essential TLS is for this sim. I only have one Stuff Pack, and that's not it. I'd really like this sim in my town, so how borked up will a lack of TLS make her?

I have no idea. . . o.o
