I really, really love the way "The Story" is written. Very delicious, fits with the Sims brand of humor and I was thinking more than once that you must spend some time on tvtropes. (If you don't, be careful if googling for that. Highly addictive site.)

Thanks for these great effects!

You're welcome. I was not familiar with tvtropes but it looks like a lot of fun. Yes, I think the humour is one of the best things about the Sims. :D

Stinky Skunk Bugfix: June 4, 2013

Stinky Skunk Bugfix: June 4, 2013

Thanks to the bug reports from nooobody and gazania concerning the Down from the 'Hood effects, I have posted a similar update for all the effects files in this archive so that Stinky Skunk no longer has a jump bug when the animal appears on a lot where an effect is in use. Please download sdEffectsBG.zip for the fix.

In addition this update removes the OMSP feature from these effects, which users had found annoying because of the tendency for the effects tiles to collect unwanted objects. And lastly, the effects tiles now reappear in buy and build mode to make them easier to find (but if you never want to see the tiles just use the built-in invisible recolours).

View Many Bugfix: Sept 30, 2013

The Decorative Junk items were causing a crash to the desktop, but only in those cases where Nightlife was the only EP installed. This release corrects the Nightlife problems, fixes the occasional jump bugs during "View Many", and now enables "View Many" if Mansions & Gardens is installed (even if FreeTime or Apartment Life are not available).

Thank you for this! I wanted to have a small fire to burn constantly under my cookpot. All your effects are great!

Sophie-David, I know this project has been done long ago, but were there any plans to make the other skills available from extracted deco junk in this set at all? I figured it couldn't hurt to ask, although I do love (and actively use) what you have provided so far. Thank you!

Thank you, and you're welcome. No, I do not have plans for further skill building junk. However, all of the Ravendancer and Opportunity Sets were made with invisible recolours, so they can be placed on the same tile as used to build skills. Some of the Opportunity items are not lecture based, but merely need the Sim to "View" them to build skills.

OK, gotcha. Thank you for the suggestions and quick reply.

Hi! This is a very innovative set.
May I please include some of your deco junk in my digging mod? (It's HL's mod really, with my custom list of items added.)
I hope to share my version on MTS once I'm happy with it.
