Pets added horses which was fantastic, but most of the tack seemed to be more Western. I and my fellow equine sims community wanted new English bridles. I hadn't attempted to make any CC before, but last night I decided to try to make new bridles. These are very rough, but I thought it would be a starting point both for myself and other creators.

Bridle 1
English show bridle with studded browband
(Male/Female, Adult/Elder)
(Everyday/Leading/Jumping/Racing)
Five variations (numbers 212, 13, 7, 5, 3)
Three Recolourable Channels (bridle leather, buckles & number plate, browband studs)

This bridle is a retexture of the Western bridle with studs. I picked numbers that are popular favorites (other than 212; I just like that number). The buckle color is linked to both the number plate color and half of the browband studs. The other half of the studs are a separate channel. This was the simplest way for me to make the browband studs recolorable. The browband is not exactly symmetric, a fact that does bother me and if I fix it, I'll be sure to update this post.

Bridle 2
English Bridle Stitiched
(Male/Female, Adult/Elder)
(Everyday/Leading/Jumping/Racing)
One variation
Three Recolourable Channels (bridle leather, buckles, stitching)

This bridle looks very rough in CAS, but by recoloring it, you can make it look a lot less horrible. The mask was tedious work to include the stitching and I tried the best I could. If I didn't include the stitching in the mask, it was hard to see the detail. I picked the better of two evils (or at least I think so). It's a retexture of the plain bridle and has no included variations.
