§33,393 unfurnished
§48,632 furnished

I saw this gorgeous house plan online and I immediately fell in love with it. Here is the result!

I decided to make the furniture very minimalist, with pretty much no color. If you feel that it's too bland, CAST away! There are plenty of opportunities to make it really colorful.

The second bedroom is currently furnished as a hobby room, with a chess table and an easel. That room can be converted into a full bedroom with a double bed, a child's bedroom or a nursery if there's a baby on the way.

The lot was built and intended for the lot in Bridgeport with the log cabin, near where the celebrities live. It should fit on any 20x30 lot, but if it's not in Bridgeport, the terrain paint might look a little funny.

The only EP that this requires is Late Night. I really needed one of the doors from LN, and the modern loft furniture adds a nice touch. I tried to refrain myself from putting in any CC or EP stuff, but there were a couple things I just really couldn't resist.

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I'm completely in love with this house, but for some reason I'm unable to install it..
I can download it, and unzip it to the proper file, but in the launcher it appears as only a small, closed cardboard box where the thumbnail and name usually are. The name doesn't appear, and when I check the box, the install option does not become available.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I would just love to have this house for my Sims!

I'm having problems getting this to open in the launcher. I downloaded some other houses so I don't think it's my computer or anything. Any ideas on what to do?

This does not install via the Launcher. What a shame, for it's a wonderful house and I would dearly love to place it in my game. :/
