That is actually one of the items that is next on my list. Purely a guess, but I think the wishing-granting ability is also tied to being a resident of the lamp, which would mean that the genie will still be able to be part of the family AND reside in the lamp in a stasis state.

If you have Master Controller, try playing around with that by adding a non-free genie to your household. Also, as a side note: genies added this way have a "botched" set of motives. For me, they have a pink mist around the bars, and don't decay. The hunger bar tooltip also says something about "Mummies don't have such needs", which is a reference to the bladder motive for mummies. Odd.

My sims are unable to re-summon the genie, so could you make a mod where we dont have to wait anytime to grant wishes. Where i could just ask for the 3 wishes right there so that i dont have to re-summon them?

This is good, thanks, but... you said this requires no expansion packs. The genie comes with Showtime... right?

I was trying yesterday, but it doesn't appear to be tunable. Either that or I still haven't found the right values. I will dig in more, during the weekend.

Great mod thanks. Ive been looking for a way to mod the genie as I think its a game breaking thing. I actually lowered the fortune reward in the mod to my own liking of 20k. As of now, the genie makes the inheritance buff completely obsolete and I dont like that.

I thought that the genie grant your wish and give you ONE more wish, but as you have spent one of your wishes asking for one more wish, you have +1 and -1 at the same time, so nothing really happened.

Do you think that you could add new wishes?

(People here are so much greedy, look at the dowloads numbers, every flavor has less than 50 dowloads, but the one with 100% and 200K have more than 400 dowloads!)

Does this need updating for Patch 1.55?
