This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Waiting a long time for horse related objects made by EA I was disappointed that there was nearly no horse carriage found in the last EPs but some decoration. So I decided to start converting these objects from Sims 2. Intentionally I chose the deco and the tent version of the gipsy carts, still waiting for EA-made carriages of other types that include the option of horses being used with them.

Though these are no cars/carts Sims can use to drive with, the objects can be found in the catalog by function under vehicles - miscellaneous. The decorative version of this cart named "Gipsy Cart - deco" is base game compatible while you need EP1 - World Adventures for the static tent version found as "Gipsy Cart - static". Buy the objects at 500 $ for each of them.
Both of the objects have four channels for color options. Using geostates the cart for EP1 shows the door closed and open when a Sim enters the object. Of course the animation might look strange because it is the same as used with a tent.
The objects differ from each other concerning the footprint. The deco object (Gipsy Cart - deco) covers 2x5 tiles, the static tent object (Gipsy Cart - static) covers 2x6 tiles.
I made three color options for each of these carts but I'm sure you can do it much better than me.
Install them to your Mods\Packages-folder like every other package.
I hope you'll enjoy these carts and don't download if you don't like them.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

It's neither gypsy nor gipsy, since both are racial slurs used against the Roma/Romani people. Great job with the object, even though it's perpetuating a negative and untrue stereotype about actual people who are discriminated against and are killed everyday.

Just wanted to add that I'm of partially gipsy/gypsy/Romany etc descent from several generations back, and do not find this object a racial slur, nor perpetuating a negative or stereotypical image. It's just a beautiful caravan (not unlike the type I'm told my great-great-grandmother travelled in back in her day).

My thoughts exactly. It's a racial slur just like any other.

Works really good but I have two glitches,1)When my sims are getting in the Gipsy cart or whatever you prefer to call it, they kind of flail around and then climb(kind of) one step up then disappear XD it is just fun to watch them lol. 2) When i told my sims to wake up they kinda started floating and sleeping outside. I had to use resetsim, but it was no big deal, just informing you what glitches I had. Apart from that it is real fun! Thank you soooooo much!

Actually, it can be spelled either way - for instance, 'gipsy' is the usual spelling where I live (England). (And even the band 'The Gipsy Kings' spell it gipsy!)

I had a friend when I was little who moved to America from Australia -- not quite the same, I know, but her mother still had to come up to the school and explain that when Hannah wrote 'colour' instead of 'color' or something of the like, it was because that was correct where she was from. She almost failed several spelling tests because our teacher didn't know that.

I think these are great and will go fantastic in my game along with he new "Gypsy Wagon" that came with supernatural to make a small camp on the outskirts of my town..

As for some of the other comments i wouldn't pay to much mind to them.

not long ago we had some Gypsy's or Travelers as they prefer with some of these carts in our local town, they did fortunes and danced and talked with everyone it was set up by the council to try and bring the two worlds together in hopes to create a new understanding. They were of Romany decent and referred to themselves as Romany Gypsy's so although some may see it as a racial slur i don't believe too many people are offended by it

If you have Supernatural you should make it into an actual Gypsy Fortune Teller Trailer.
