So your looking for some property in the form of a Manor..and you have how much??

There is one place that comes to mind, a place i visited not long ago during a trip away. I had gotten lost and stumbled upon a small village by the name of Grayling It was one of those places that time had forgotten.
I was weary from my travels and decided to seek a bed at the local inn, you could tell by way of the townsfolk that it had been a long while since anyone had visited Grayling.
During my stay in Grayling i heard many sims talk of the Manor that stood on the outskirts of the village. It is whispered that during the full moon the Manor will once again take on life, some speak of screams that carry thru the wind, many speak of the creaking from the old rocking chair and the gentle hum of the Governess's lullaby. Most sims talk of footsteps that echo thru the halls.
I decided to find out more and uncovered the sorry tale of Grayling Manor

Lord and Lady Grayling were adored by the townspeople for their kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and so they were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. However, their happiness was short lived when tragedy struck. On return from a trip overseas. Lord Grayling's ship ran into a terrible storm casting Master Grayling and his Governess overboard. Lady Grayling, whom had stayed home due to a terrible headache, received the news of her baby's demise that same night. It is said that under the glow of the full moon her broken hearted scream carried with the wind throughout the town. Lord Grayling returned with a broken soul and nothing but the child's bear which had taken on a frightful appearance. In the days that followed Lady Grayling gave into her broken heart and died. Lord Graying was never seen or heard from again. Many say the manor became his tomb.

I decided to visit the manor and although much of the estate has been reclaimed, the one beautiful house stands still a monument to the Graylings and thier tale of woe,the bright stone walls have become dark and crumbled with age, the rich mahogany that filled the house with elegance is now weathered and rotted, and the fine furnishing that once filled the house with brightness and joy have now faded and worn. the manor has been cast into darkness..

As i wandered around i got the overwhelming sense of sadness that echoed thru the halls the garden once filled with garden bushes had become over grown and weed infested the one sunlight lit terrace seems to have been cast in a shadow

and under the large misshapen Glauer Tree had become the resting place of the Lady Garyling and as i looked thru the overgrowth i could see the blue flowers that once aligned the small grave of the young master his bear sat at his graveside was to me one of the most frightful things i had seen. and nestled between the roots was the governess.

The Manor it's self has everything needed for a family, a fully furnished kitchen, the lounge is furnished with lavish furniture, there is a library leading onto the terrace, the master bedroom adjoins a once grand bathroom and the child's room is perfect for any growing toddler although the bright blue walls have aged and the crib had become worn and moth eaten, the governess's quarters are furnish with a private sitting room. and at the back of the property their is space to convert the old hollow towers into possibly a guest room or a place to practice art forms or alchemy.
