This Chinese Astrology major was created for mod the sims’ Multicultural Create Competition.
BACKGROUND
The study of the heavens was an old topic even before the time writing was developed. Way back when our ancestors were still living in caves, all they saw at night was a dark sky full off twinkling stars and one big Moon. It didn’t take them long to figure out the shape of the Moon changes in a periodic and predictable manner, ultimately leading to the birth of the Chinese Lunar calendar.
Back then Chinese applied astrology heavily to military planning, to determine a certain course of action or reaction. Today people still believe certain human affairs are associated with the trajectories and relative positions of stars and planets.
Chinese astrology covers a whole host of subjects, besides the usual matter of zodiac, there are fengsui, five Elements, ten Heavenly Posts, twelve Ground Supports, palm reading, and face reading. To be good at it, one needs to practice for years. Since Chinese astrology is very different from western astrology, I thought this would be a good university major for sims who are interested in Chinese culture.

This Chinese Astrology Major was cloned from the psychology major, all class hours and skills are the same as the original one. Therefore, focus skills are charisma, logic, creativity, and cleaning. Sims who graduated summa cum laude majoring in Chinese astrology will have a boost in the Chinese matchmaker career (created by me), business, paranormal, intelligence, and may include some of the Seasons’ careers (I cannot tell you which ones because I don’t play Seasons). Obviously, you need the University EP to use this major.
This new major has its own GUID 0x83C067BE, does not overwrite maxis’ majors, and has its own custom major icon. As usual, sims cannot choose any custom major using a computer (if they can that means the original maxis major has been overwritten!). Sims can choose custom majors right on campus by using FrikaC’s Majors Made Easier mod (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=107858). Note: If you already have the InSimenator mod, you don't need FrikaC's mod, the InSimenator can do the same.
This major has been tested by sending 2 teen sims (that were raised from birth) from 2 different families to the Academie La Tour, everything was working properly, including satisfying aspiration wants with memories. My young adults successfully graduated with this Chinese Astrology Major without any problem. The game play was as smooth as it could be.

Celestial Navigation: Constellations, stars, role of the Sun, Moon, and Earth.
Freshman second semester:
Zodiac: Characteristics of twelve zodiac animals.
Sophomore first semester:
Lunar Calendar: China’s 60-year cycle and 12-hour cycle.
Sophomore second semester:
Chinese Almanac I: The five Elements—Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth.
Junior first semester:
Chinese Almanac II: Ten Heavenly Posts and Twelve Ground Supports.
Junior second semester:
Fengsui I: Harmony with the direction.
Senior first semester:
Fengsui II: Harmony with the five Elements.
Senior second semester:
Eight-Word: Foretelling one’s life using Eight-Word method.
