Hello,

Sorry about the long delay, I haven't been actively checking out the thread and seem to have missed this. My apologies!

Hmm. The only thing I can think of is, perhaps the images are in the wrong place? You can check the folder where you installed the program. The main folder should have the files SimRandomizer.html and Readme.pdf, and then there should be a subfolder named "images". If you go inside the folder "images", there you should have 166 png files that are used by the program.

If the program you used to extract the files didn't take into account the internal folder structure of the download, you might have the images in the same folder as the html, and that would cause the program not to find them (because it's looking for them in the folder "images"). My sister is a Mac user and reported that this can happen when extracting the files on a Mac. So if you have the images in the same folder as SimRandomizer, make a subfolder "images" and move the pngs there, and that should fix it.

If you have the pngs in the right place and it still doesn't work, then I don't know what the problem might be, sorry! Possibly a setting in your browser is forbidding the images somehow?

In any case, sorry for missing this originally, and I hope this is of help!

Will this work offline? I don't have internet connection at home and can only access net from libraries.

I'm sorry to be this late again, I'm not on MTS very much and seem to have missed your question! Yes, it will work offline. You download it on your computer to use, it works in a web browser (because the browser can display the results), but it's not actually online, so you don't need to be connected to use it.

Thank you so much for this, it's been super helpful in setting up new Sims without creating the sam old things I prefer to play. Love it! :D

I've been using this for years and I love it! But I've found a mod which alters the game's turns on and offs, and I'm trying to find a way to edit the Randomizer to reflect the changes (without success). Can anyone share how I might be able to do it?

I use this a lot but if I can give a little feedback the order of the sims's details should be changed:

The first line should show skin color, age, fitness level and gender.
The second line should show hair color, hats, eye color glasses, jewelry (in this order)
The third line should show aspiration, personality, chemistry
The other line should show things that get assigned outside of CAS.

I say this because I often have to change window when i use CAS and this tool and I would memorize the sim's details better if every line showed what to set in every CAS page instead of having them shuffled.
