Ah that's funny. Just a few days ago, as I was building a new house, I examined these windows, after I decided I needed to use something different (I always end up using these white basic windows -- always!). I don't personally have a crush on the stylish feminine design, but I thought they matched the personality of the Sim I was building the house for. But I ended up not using them when I notice how the bottom was way too low. After a few seconds, I concluded they were better for stores (and you just confirmed they are from OFB). Thanks for the job, I will revisit a recent house!

Oh yay. Then you may want to look at the other expansions I have done for the set. Other colors and an assortment of other things. I am delighted I could help.

I am happy to hear any ideas for my Storybook expansion project, as well as open to others helping.
Also, check out my object recoloring tutorial.

Great! Thank you for doing what Maxis and EA didn't even think of. There are so many odss and ends that seem incomplete with them. Now this makes a set.

These are very cute, however, these windows managed to crash my game twice today. I was building and decided to use the window that these are based off of, and in doing so had my game crash. After the second time I removed your windows from the downloads folder, loaded the lot, and attempted usage of the main window again. This time there were no hiccups, no problems, nothing. I can therefore conclude that there is something to the ones you made.

Hmmmmmm...... The first thing I would like you to try is putting them in the downloads folder 1 by 1 (2 by 2 technically due to diagonals) and see if it is a specific of the 4 that is causing the problem. The next I suppose would be is to do a conflicting GUID scan. I do not know of all the issues conflicting GUIDs can cause, but since it works fine in my game, then I figure there might be something in yours that it doesn't agree with.
How to scan~ http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?tit...:GUID_Conflicts According to the top here, game crashing can indeed happen with GUID conflicts.
Please let me know how it goes.

Hello, firstly, thank you for all these amazing items! The storybook set is really cute, but it always felt kind of incomplete, so thank you for all your hard work!
However, I have had the same problem as Joselle had, where my game repeatedly crashed while using these windows. I narrowed it down to the "Storybook2tilewindowshorter" and "Storybook2tilewindow shorterDIAGONAL" files, and did a GUID scan with SimPE which showed a conflict with the "objects.package" in my installation folder ( http://postimg.org/image/sdji0wf4h/ ) so I don't think it's a conflict with another piece of CC?
Sorry this is so long, hopefully this information is useful to you. And again, thank you for making all these items!

I really love these windows especially the fact that they pick up all the recolors I've downloaded for the original Storybook windows, thank you so much for that DoreMiFaSoLaTiDo!
But..I am having the same problem that Joselle and jaycravn reported and my SimPE scan showed the same conflict jaycravn described with the objects.package.
Does anyone know if there is a solution? A search in the "Object Creation Workshop & Repair Center" for 'storybook' didn't return any results and I'm too much of a noob to recognize this problem in other posts, so...
If someone could point me in the right direction I would be so grateful! I want to keep these windows and am prepared to put some time and effort into it if need be.
Thanks in advance!

If anyone is having the reported problem with the Shorter 2 Tile Window, I can report it was a GUID conflict (though I thought it couldn't be) and I posted a fix on my own site here: https://littlecarping.com/mybb/showthread.php?tid=56

It's only the 2-tile shorter window that is affected and it's only those files I have edited and uploaded there. If you want the full set, you need to download the files from this thread and then the fix from my site - letting my files overwrite the originals. I didn't change the file names.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc
