- new pictures are tacked on at the end of the above pictures.
--- You will want Sophie-David's Invisible Driveway to invisify the driveway

2 CC Included:
- TBudgett's Retaining Wall Top mesh and pertinent recolor
- Marvine's Ladder
Lot Size: 20X20 (same as the original Maxis lot)
Lot Price: $30,557
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ the original upload post follows below ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NOTE: This is #11 Oak Street - built across the street from the original. LOL!
...Now that the "crazy old coot" was out of her hair (happily talking to his garden Gnome, in his version of this hovel across the street) Cat could finally get down to business on this remodel. The first thing she did was add a loft, much like she had in his house. But, she didn't want to sleep up there - she thought it would be better utilized as a lounge/den type area.
Then she tackled the kitchen and bathroom. Outdoor plumbing was never an option for Cat. And, she needed a bit more space in both the bath and kitchen then the old coot had wanted. So, she moved the kitchen across the house and extended the bathroom with a nicely tiled walk in shower. She liked the cook-stove idea; because as she said - it provides enough warmth to heat the whole little house and you can cook on it too! Win-win Then she bought a shiny new microwave for the counter. (Incidently, while she was in town getting the nuker she noticed they were having a huge sale on TVs - so she got a really good deal on the flat screen TV up in the loft area.)
Now, where would be the best place for a bedroom? A basement! With small windows that open out to the flowers - the invigorating early morning air will smell delicious! The wall over behind the ladder is mirrored; Cat plans to put up a ballet barre there as soon as she can.
A side-note for interested investors -
I made this lot with the aide of Numenor's AGS (what a wonderful tool!) It was originally built to only need NL, OFB, SSN, and M&G - so it may work with that configuration. But, I packaged it up from my regular current game, so I listed it as needing all EPs/SPs installed in order to work properly. I used minimal custom content - basically just walls and floors, with a few build-mode items thrown in for good measure .
REQUIRED but not included be sure to get these before installing this house (or things will not look right!)
Shopping List: (You need to go get these items yourself - just click/follow the link)
You will need at least one recolor of Jonesi's Bed Blanket - I recommend these: Linen Solids by Amythestfenix @ S2A
By Sophie-David @ MTS2 - Invisible Driveway
From Menaceman44 @ MTS2 - Lunatech Ceiling Light FIX
Also you will need: tb-PG_1Tile_Tall_Closed-MASTER - the Master mesh for the Pinegultcher windows (Thank you, Tamha, for reporting back)
Lot Size: 2x3
Lot Price: $19,962
- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
About Me
I mostly "build" - houses, apartments, recreational, and community lots - but, I also create walls (and murals), floors, terrain paint, and various other recolors. And I've written a few tutorials too. :luff:
