What type of foundation did you use so that you could build a basement with an accessible garage? ive been attempting to imitate your design in my own homes, and have succeeded at nothing more than the thought and the mere idea.

I did not use the basement tool to make the bottom floor. There are videos on how to do it on Youtube, but what you basically need to do is use the stairs tool on the ground three times and then flatten as much land as you need. This will give you a basement the height of a regular room, so you can put a foundation around it. The garage is NOT a foundation, it is actually a room made with the wall tool in the ground. I hope this makes it clearer.
