Looking for something like this for seems like aaages; I will make a note to put away in my test folder till confirmation that this works with January's patch. I'm surprised I found this just now, Thanks! Although, I just wanted to extend the lifespan of the Cowplant, this will definitely moo... er, I meant do! ;-P

oh it works, it was a massacre! I had turned on 3x speed just temporarily while the wife of the 3rd gen heir walked from her room upstairs down to the magic invisible wall that takes her to work (that way im paying attention to when she goes into work mode so I can switch her to "work hard" as fast as possible). So in the few seconds I wait for her picture to switch to the at work version, I see it instead disappear. Her picture just gone completely. . I slow time down to normal speed, and use my 3rd generation heir to call up his wife, it lets me invite her over and wouldnt you know it, she arrives as a ghost.

How did she die I wonder, then I notice only two of what had five pictures remain, the 3rd gen heir, and the insane gardening younger brother of the 2nd gen heir. I check the picture in the relationship panel and sure enough the 2nd gen heir and his gardening brothers wife have also now fallen victim to my single cowplant. The gardening brp Is overwhelmed with grief as he and the 3rd gen heir sit alone in the massive mansion...Then the heir gets up and starts walking outside, with "eat the cake" in his action que. I paused the game, and the heir is on the other side of the yard far away from the plant, but it wont let me cancel the que. I attempt to have the garden bro who started this tragedy run ahead and feed the plant ahead of time, but he was not fast enough. As a last ditch attempt (this is the sole remaining heir) I used the teleport cheat only to have it kill my sim instantly (he still wanst to the plant yet). It was awful, three generations wiped out in 15 minutes, mod endorsed!

My cowplant won't eat ANYONE. It takes forever for a sim in my household to try the cake, and the visitors never take it. I need it to work for the four immortal sisters challenge Also, there is no eat cake interaction, only feed when the cake tongue is out. PLEASE HELP

seems the cake interaction is tied to the cowplant's hunger gauge, so extending the cowplant also causes the cake to appear less frequently.

can anyone confirm this?

This looked very promising, however, I had to restart my game a few times because my twin sister wanted to eat the cake, and died instantly if I cancelled the action... And the cow plant is still not fed! My sim just dies, not further a do. She get the 'eat cake' action, I want to cancel it and BOOM dead. Not even the grim reaper came by for a ceremony.
And my cow plant isn't fed if she just dies, cake still dangling from it tongue waiting for the next doomed victim.

I have the tweak & lifespan mod from this page. I don't have any other Cow Plant mods.

My Sim (household, not visitor) apparently ate the cake when I was not paying attention, died instantly and there was no messege of the event or Grim Reaper appearance at all. I'm trying to get any other visitors to eat the cake, but none of them will even go near the plant. When the cake is out, there are two bubbles saying 'eat the cake' now, I don't know why. It seems like only household Sims are attracted to the cake. No visitors will approach it.

Edit: I moved in an experimental Sim (poor guy) and tried clicking on both buttons. The one button that says, 'eat cake' that looks glitched, is not. He ate the cake and the cow plant animation went off with him swallowing the Sim, getting full then deciding to spit the Sim out. The button that looks normal is glitched. When he ran up to it to take the cake he simply died instantly. No animations happened, a tombstone instantly appeared and no Grim.

This is happening to my game but I don't have this mod installed. May be a problem with The Sims 4 itself and not this mod!

This seems to be a rather interesting mod, as I think it can lead to many things lol. However there were some glitches, perhaps due to the new patch. I tested this mod by fencing up a NPC along with the cowplant and locked him in it. Then I made both the cowplant and the NPC hungry.

Without the mod, the NPC ate the cake and got spit out. I made the cowplant hungry again for the cake, but the NPC will not eat the cake anymore despite having the ravenous moodlet which I forced on him.

With the mod, the NPC just disappeared after trying to eat the cake. In fact, there's not even any animation of him TRYING to eat the cake, perhaps he was already too near the cowplant or something, I didn't even see him walked to it. After disappearing, no grim reaper, no essence of soul, no full cowplant, and the cake is still there. The NPC just disappeared from my list. When I clicked on the cowplant, there were 2 "Eat Cake" icon, lol.

Either way, this is what I suggest. Instead of tweaking the cowplant to not give the "Drained" moodlet, why not just tweak it so that the NPC will still eat the cake with that moodlet? I believe in this way, it will probably need less tweak, hence less glitches.

Hello, would it be possible to randomize if the cowplant is eating your sim or not? So that it sometimes takes several tries and sometimes works on the first try? That would be really neat

These files do something very odd to my game, they cause it so that my Sim will not use any fridge I put in their home. I have tried this without any other mod what so ever, only putting in the files here and it only happens with these.
