These are texture overrides for the two cherry trees in non-editable public spaces. I’ve just made them reference the textures of another oak tree instead.

You can see in the second picture that the trees still drop their floating pink leaves; I have no idea how to fix that and I’m not inclined to try. The cherry trees in the catalog are untouched so will still appear if they’re placed on lots, as you can see in the third picture.

You can use this with my No-Fade Trees and Streetlamps.

Update 1/24/16

I know that there are some cherry trees in Windenburg that need de-pinking, but I no longer have a Windows partition on my Mac, and am not sure when/if I will be able to update this mod. If someone else picks it up, I will post a link here.

Update

Someone reported that the cherry trees were turning back to pink when they zoomed out. When I tested this, I raised the camera up as far as possible but the trees stayed green; since I couldn’t duplicate the issue, I thought it might have something to do with different graphics settings, and wasn’t sure what the problem was exactly or how to fix it. I’ve realized today that the trees were only turning pink when you move the camera back, as in toward the horizon line as opposed to toward the sky.

Anyway, I believe I have fixed that issue now, so I’ve updated the linked file. The new file has the same name so you can overwrite the old one. It’s probably not something you would have noticed in regular gameplay though, so if it hasn’t bothered you yet, then I wouldn’t bother redownloading!
