Updated: 9th Mar 2015 at 7:12 PM - Updated with texture fix
UPDATE March 9 2015: I discovered that this item had a small texture flaw in which the tower unit's colour was overspilling onto two corners of the base of the monitor stand, which I hadn't noticed in gameplay until today, so have fixed the the texture and replaced the original file with a fixed one. My most embarrassed apologies if you've already downloaded this - please re-download and let the new version overwrite the old. Be sure you're using the version dated March 9 and not March 8. Thanks!

Here's a TS4 conversion of MaxoidMonkey's classic Alienware computer from the old Sims 2 Exchange website. Having previously converted this for TS3, I thought it would be nice to carry this cute computer along to TS4 too.
It comes in the three recolours it originally came in for TS2: Green as above, and below, black and blue.
Good for doing a little hacking or modding:
Or for writing a few jokes or chatting on the web:
It costs 2000 simoleons and is found in the Computers section in Buy Mode.
A note about TS4 desk compatibility:
Desks in TS4, unlike the previous games, are all different shapes and sizes, and I had to modify this mesh a bit to get this computer to be reasonably compatible with most of them. Making this conversion made me realise this is probably why all the default PCs are small all-in-one styles. I had to make the keyboard smaller and move both the mouse position and the tower unit position to make this compatible with TS4 positioning. The PC will be OK with most desks, but with the ones with shelves or drawers at the back, there will be some clipping. If you find that too noticeable, then please use one of the plainer desks like those used in these screenshots.
Thanks for looking, hope you'll find this cute old classic PC useful.
My Sims 3 conversion of this object is here: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=497940
INSTALLATION:
Unzip the zip file and move the .package file to your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder.
Polygon Counts:
1292 polys
Additional Credits:
Made ~with LOVE~ with Sims 4 Studio Love 2.4.0.3
Thank you to MaxoidMonkey for the original mesh and textures.

Thank you to MaxoidMonkey for the original mesh and textures.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
