Larger & Thinner Simplicity Shade - Maxis Add-On

This set is an alteration of the Maxis "Simplicity Shade". I have decreased the size of the hardware to make the blinds sit closer to the window. I thought it looked a little strange originally. I have also created one-tile and three-tile versions of the blinds.

Object Information:

This download comes in two flavours, one containing a Maxis override for "Simplicity Shade" and one adding it as a standalone object called "Simplicity Shade (Thin)". All blinds come in the 8 original Maxis textures, which have not been altered.

They can be found in Buy Mode - Objects by Function - Decorations - Window Coverings under the following names and prices.

"Simplicity Single Shade" for 33 simoleons.

"Simplicity Shade" or "Simplicity Shade (Thin)" for 65 simoleons.

"Simplicity Triple Shade" for 98 simoleons.

Polygon Counts:
Same as original Maxis "Simplicity Shade".

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.

This download offers two separate files, both containing the one and three-tile versions. Choose one file only.

"Simplicity Shade Add-On (Double Standalone)" has the two-tile blind as a standalone object. "Simplicity Shade Add-On (Double Override)" has the two-tile blind as a Maxis override.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the File tab to see the download link. Click the link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) to extract the file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Cut and paste the file(s) into your Mods folder

• Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
• Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\

Need more information?

• Anyone can use both .rar and .zip files easily! On Windows, use WinRAR.
• If you don't have a Mods folder, just make one.
