Awesome! I missed this trait from The Sims 3. I would be interested in the more "extreme" version of this trait, too--though I'm curious as to how extreme you planned on making it?

The extreme version would basically hinder you from progressing in both work and skill, slowing most things down to about 10-20%, otherwise it would mostly be identical.
That was how I made the trait originally, but as soon as I tested it I realized that it would probably be unsuited for regular play.
With some slight balancing though it may make for a nice trait for those that want some extra challenge out of the game, as it would edit the difficulty of the game only for individual characters, making it harder without modifying the entire game.

"The word". S4 is so easy even this loser doesn't find it engaging, bring on the challenge!

When my sim aged up from teen to YA, she lost all her skill levels, and could not gain any new skill level. I do not know if this was the intention of the mod, but it was disconcerting.

I agree about it being disconcerting that my loser Sims cannot gain skills or level up any skills whatsoever. Maybe tune that back a scoosh.

Hi! I really like the thought of having some "loser"-Sims in my game but like others already said, when a Sim got this trait, they can't level ANY skill up and anytime they play an instrument or paint or anything, they gain the 1. skill level again. So it's "Your Sim gained the Fitness skill! They can now level up by doing more fitness!" over and over and over again.

We could be immortals but not for long

A new version of this would be amazing, especially if it causes severe depression, lots of crying or temper tantrums whenever something goes wrong. Just for the realism
