Partly German, wonder what this means... Did you add "Ostfriesentee" without Cream?

Though you do a great job trying to improve the game it remains TS4... *sigh* Anyway, I like to take a look at the pics of your creations

"Partly German" means that I didn't know how "Pot of Tea" was translated for the other kinds of tea ("Kanne Ostfriesentee"? "Eine Kanne Ostfriesentee"? "Ostfriesentee in Kanne"? Just "Ostfriesentee" without mentioning the Kanne?), so I left that one in English.

Okay, so "Brew Pot of..." (a cup of...) already explains that you prepare a pot (just checking your ingame screenshots for the translation but I suppose you can prepare a cup, too). It should say something like: "Eine Kanne (cup = Tasse) aufbrühen mit..." so "Ostfriesentee" is just fine.
(Eine) Kanne Ostfriesentee (in English (a) pot of East Frisia Tea, I guess) is correct German but we don't mention "Ostfriesentee in der Kanne", because in this case you focus on the pot: it was just cleaned, you got it from Granny or someone was searching for it and now, there is tea inside, you know.
Ostfriesentee isn't just tea btw, it's a type like Earl Grey but it's a German type Fine with cream, rock sugar, a chat with friends and such. So you can call it like that in German, a very German German translation

I know =) -- German is my first language, but I have the game in English. So what I don't know is what the existing other stuff is called in game -- I need the "Maxis German" so to speak, because I don't want my wording to be different from that for the other teas (it would be weird if it'd say "Kanne Kamillentee" when you click on one pot but "Eine Kanne Tee" for the next pot).

Do you have the game installed in German? Then it would be very helpful if you could zip up the file

C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Data\Client\Strings_GER_DE.package (or DE_DE or whatever it is called -- that's the file that contains all the localised strings)

and upload the zip to this thread: http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=539386 ("Language Resources" in Create)

And I wish, I could help but as I said, I only take a look at the ingame-pictures of downloads or offer help with a translation...
I do not own the game and it seems like this won't change soon, or ever. Instead I re-installed my old TS2 stuff anf that's fun to play

So hopefully someone else will help you.

Or if you've got enough space on your HDD, try and install a German version (can't take ages already, can it?) with a custom path (like C:\Program Files (x86)\Sprachauszug\Die Sims 4\Data\Client\Strings_GER_DE.package), so you can copy&paste the missing package to a save location and get rid of the German game again. Complicated but if nobody uploads the package this could solve the problem, couldn't it? As I said, I would upload, if I could, sorry.

And no, this does not mean, that it's not required to help modders with uploading text-strings
