Thanks, everyone! Hope you'll find this funky little colourful curio enjoyable.

See pic of real-life reference examples I provided in the row of pics at the top of the Description page. They have the key colours I used and have embedded paintings, including one of the paintings I used for my own piano.

ETA: A Google of many similar examples here if interested: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%...iw=1248&bih=569

Actually, those aren't piano's, but virginals, which are smaller versions of harpsichords; much like upright pianos are to a full sized piano. But of course there is only the piano skill in the sims now so having them functioning as a piano and being able to have a semi-functional virginal in your game is super awesome!

The main difference between harpsichords and pianos is that harpsichords pluck the string while pianos hit it, so harpsichords and virginals sound more like harps or guitars than actual pianos.

That's because these aren't pianos (though they function as that in the game), but virginals which are smaller versions of harpsichords. Virginals are to harpsichords as upright pianos are to full sized pianos. Harpsichords have that reversal of piano key color in comparison to actual modern pianos, but virginals most often have the same pattern as piano keys.

Yes, I'm aware of that (I am a musical instrument history buff), that's why in my description I said "This is a funky little colourful piano made in the style of Medieval/Renaissance keyboard instruments (virginals)." Glad you like it anyway, thanks!
