Here are Dinhd's empty careers edited. These careers prevent Sims from rolling job-related wants and have no work hours or levels. You can use them for Sims that own a business, run a home business or for Sims who are just wealthy legacy heirs. There are three different types -

Fearless Freelancer
Your Sim works for themselves, doing what they want... or at least what paying clients want. Unfortunately, paying clients want everything from financial advice to home-crafted tat at a moment's notice and that's just the start! It's not glamorous, but it's a living.

Spirited Speculator
Should everyone be laid off and replaced by robots? Should the company logo be redone to include more llamas? These are the types of critical decisions you'll be making as a business owner. Optimize your investment through diligent research and turn piles of Simoleons into even bigger piles of Simoleons!

Dynamic Descendant
It's a shame that someone had to die before you could take over but that sweet Simoleon inheritance will help ease the pain. Plus, you can use a few from the pile to dry your tears when the tissues run out. Don't forget to take care of the family while you're busy spending money!

I found the original careers via Gummilutt, who mentioned that they'd found the descriptions a bit offensive. So I've edited the titles/descriptions (they're the same for each gender) and tidied up the icons. I nicked some phrases from TS4 career descriptions to bulk these out.

Some things to bear in mind when using the careers -
  • You'll still get a message about "Sim has the night off!"
  • There are no chance cards, career rewards, pay or levels.
  • The careers will appear in the newspaper, on the computer or on MogHughson's Job Board.
  • Time off is still accrued with these careers. For every 7 days "worked" you get one vacation day.
  • There were no translations for other languages in the files so I've set each file to use English only so that the titles and information will still show for everyone.

To avoid waiting on your career of choice becoming available via newspaper/computer you can use the Sim Blender or any other similar mod. I hope these are useful!
