When I first learned that the objects that made apartments "unique" were permanent, I was not thrilled. However, I didn't have the modding know-how to enable the obliteration of these objects from my apartments... until now.

I present to you: Movable/Delete-able/Buyable apartment objects. These objects are overrides, so you will be able to delete/move the ones that are already placed in the pre-made apartments that come with San Myshuno. I also added them to the BuyDebug category, so you can place these objects in non-apartment lots! Just enable BuyDebug (bb.showhiddenobjects) enter **DEBUG** into the search bar, and filter the results to City Living & Custom Content. The roach & random smell generators are a little tricky, you'll only be able to delete them once they spawn in, so be careful when placing those.

You can also search for these objects:

Which File Do I Download?:

I also recommend "Unlocked Lot Traits" by Dorsal Axe, which can be found here.

These Packages override the ObjectCatalogResource of the following objects:

Any other mod that modifies these resources WILL conflict with my mod.

Additional Credits:
Sims4Studio, for it's user-friendliness.
s4pe, for combining those packages into one.

You must have the expansion, game version or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

This needs an update, as Dreamadove said everything seems to work fine until you get a repair to do and realize that you can't interact with the item at all; I also tried with the unlocked trait TLC and nothing. That's too bad since I had installed the electric box and the pipes in all my houses because they really add some realism. That's too bad

I just found a version of the unlocked items for apartment problems that was updated for the November patch: City Living apartment problems for any lot - Updated for EP03 Cats & Dogs. I'm not sure if it still works, but it's worth a try.

aparkison, I don't know why I wasn't notified of your post and saw it randomly while checking if someone had updated the mod and posted it in the comments; so sorry for the delay. A huge thanks for the link you posted, I'm back from testing it and it works with the very latest patch, the Jungle Adventure one. This is so awesome! Amazing how can I be happy from seeing my sim repairing a pipe with a wrench haha I'm so glad to have these again, gosh! Thank you for the link as I would have never found it by myself *hugs*

It stopped working a long time ago. And the updated version aparkinson kindly linked here was broken by the latest patch 1.47, the Get famous all mods killer patch - it also wants to kill all the sims apparently so yeah killer patch on the loose, run for the hills.

Ah I wish someone would update these as it really added so much realism into the game, sob. There is supposedly going to be a tutorial to update the mods but if it'll need python I wont be able to do it myself, or maybe a batch fix will be made for Sims4studio, we can only hope.

If only the windows were included with blog post link. That and the plaques were the only reason I wanted the mod. Atleast the plaques work and can be deleted.

I just tried using them on a residental lot in the Glimmerbrook neighborhood. I could place them, and after a time the fuse box and pipes started acting up -- sparking box leading to power going out and leaking from the pipes -- but there were no interactions available and a repair service sim acted like nothing was in need of repair. So it seems like this does work in a way, but is ultimately broken at present (as of patch 1.55.108.1020).
