Omfg THANK YOU! This was well-needed. Will you be making similar mods for the other festivals? I believe sims wear random outfits at the romance festival as well... can't remember if they do the same at the humor and hijinks event. At geekcon it kind of makes sense though. Either way, I appreciate your work!

Thanks for the thanks! Unfortunately, I won't be doing mods for the other fests. If they do change clothes, it evidently doesn't bother me since I can't remember if they even change at all at some, and with the constant barrage of updates Maxis does I'll only be doing mods for things that annoy me personally so I keep the updates HERE minimized. I know they do change at the romance fest, but that kind of makes sense as well. There are some other mods out there that change the outfits if you are interested, but they do change them into something different (like formal or party) instead of just blocking them like mine here does:

Sorry, no, like I just said above. Every mod you do you have to update it pretty much every time Maxis updates the game. I understand the want for a particular mod, but I just have other priorities for fixing the game, playing the game, and outside the game than constantly updating a slew of mods.

I´ve already done mods for all of the festivals some months ago:

http://www.simforum.de/showpost.php...54&postcount=97 (the page is german, but the mod names are in English, it´s the first four mods.)

blossomfestival

Sims will wear formal wear (exept for the crazy teen who will wear party wear)

foodfestival

sims will wear party wear instead

lampfestival

light siders will wear formal wear, dark siders will wear party wear

fleamarketvendor

the flea market vendors will wear everyday wear.

Thank you - I hated all those drab brown clothes! The other fests don't bother me either, but all that brown. Nope.

I ended up grabbing your Romance Festival one last night...I'd had pretty good luck with what they'd been wearing, but Bella Goth showed up in a flowing white dress and a green Llama's head, so more EA nonsense. But your mod took care of it, so thanks!

Thank you for this. You are a mind-reader. I'm reluctant though to install anything new these days given to how easy the game crashes and how long it takes to get it working again. I wish you could have got rid of the stupid Knights gatherings in Get Together.

Wow, when I first saw your mod, I thought, "oh, this isn't bad ... a bit of brown and less repetition, ok!"

But no, you did not even accurately depict the awfulness or promote your mod enough, lol. It's not just brown, but any color of most wacky accessories as well. Crazy gloves, dumb hats, socks with sandals, bold bracelets, the works.

Yes, I DO need your mod. EEP! ... Thanks.

Thank you, this is a great mod! Also wanted to say, " making it look like a poor man's Firefly convention (the Browncoats are coming!)" is the best description I've ever seen for this. I laughed... probably more than I should have.
