Go right ahead! I figured since it was a city-run operation, city hall would make sense, but the junkyard does as well. I didn't see it listed as a rabbit hole location in the tutorial so good luck getting it to work!

Thanks! Oh I know the junkyard isn't a rabbithole. I guess City Hall makes more sense, but I already have too many careers there. And I'll be using Arsil's Custom Rabbithole doors mod that can be placed at any venue and I can connect your mod to it (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=549846). I love these mods! I don't know. I have the latest patch 1.69 and never had an earlier version. As I like to tell people: try it and find out! If it works, yay. If it doesn't, there's your answer.

Love, love, love this career mod! I always found the "prices" unrealistic in the game. I prefer to play families that are working hard for their simoleons! In fact, I chose this career for my Sim Dad in the game. In reality my Father worked at GM for 25 years, he was the sole breadwinner until my Mom got a job when I was 10. Personally, I don't know how to "do" or "create" mods, but would love to bounce some ideas off you in regards to some careers I think would be a bit more realistic.

Feel free to suggest. I wrote up a Plumbing one, with even more realistic wages save for the last two levels. I do sims in fits and bursts and thus mods may take a while. If you want to try your hand at it, click on Missy Hissy's tutorial that I linked on the page. I had to take the tones out to get mine to work, but otherwise it was pretty straightforward on how to make it.

Hm. Do you have the most recent patch, 1.69? I'm wracking my brain as to why you'd get numbers and not the actual career, since others who've commented have had no issue. Usually the Join Career < Numbers > is something that happens when the mod is being created, one of the last steps. Maybe delete and re-download? I'm sorry I can't be more help.

Would love to see more blue collar jobs in game! Maybe an off shoot of Law Enforcement and make a Correctional Officer Career? Or Auto Mechanic?

I have this same problem! I tried download it again and it didn't help.

Edit: It worked, when I turned my game in english! In finnish language pack, it didn't work.

I like this mod. One thing I would add if I could is adding a "Join x career" wish that is acompanying vanilla careers.
