Occult Eyes for Everysim

BY REQUEST NOW UNLOCKS NORMAL SIM EYES FOR ALIENS IN UNDISGUISED FORMS

Works with Eco, no update needed!

It has come to my attention that this is being advertised as a fix for the Spellcaster Eye Bug, which is okay, but please note that it does NOT fix the child sims color changing eye bug. Using cas.fulleditmode and selecting a normal, non-occult, default eye color SHOULD stop the kids from having color-changing eyes, as it seems to be a bug with eyes that don't have a child-specific mesh or rig. This mod does NOT use a child mesh/rig for spellcasters, because one doesn't seem to exist.

Just something I did for myself because I couldn't find it on here, I figured other people might want to benefit from my labor.

All this does is enable the default mermaid, alien, evil clone, and vampire eyes for every occult state (humans, vampires, mermaids, and aliens), and every age, from toddler to elder, find them with the rest of the eye colors.

JUST files work alone and together, but I included the combo files for those, like me, who don't want a lot of clutter in their mod folders. In the case of using multiple JUST files, sometimes removing one disables the others, but a quick game reboot fixes it. The JUST blind file is included in anything labeled Vampire.

Realm of Magic Note: Aging spellcaster sims with these eyes DOWN in CAS will sometimes cause child sims to have an extra pair of eyeballs, because the mesh doesn't change from the adult to the child, simply unselect the eye color and reselect.

Compatible with other non-default occult eyes but DOES NOT unlock them for all occult states!

This looks like one of the only fixes I've found for the occult eyes with Spellcasters. Is there anyway to turn them off? To force all sims to have "normal" colored eyes? My kids that are spellcasters keep spontaneously changing eye color and it's driving me crazy.

Sorry for the EXTREMELY late reply, I just got back to my computer.

Thank you for making this, I have had a vampire sim since toddlerhood and I decided to devampire her now during adulthood and she lost her beautiful eyes. She just looked wrong without her signature eyes. But now she will be ready for her future life

If I only want to fix the spellcaster eyes, which file should I download? I do not have Vampires. Spellcaster eyes have NEVER worked in my game, despite disabling all CC and keeping up with updates.

Spellcaster eyes are not in Sims4Studio as their own thing, and I never had them either.
If you have Get To Work or Island Living, try one of those files (or the combo file). This mod only unlocks the occult eyes you already have.

Hello, I downloaded the mod, but I'm missing the vampire eyes with the black sclera?

Sorry for the EXTREMELY late reply, my computer has...opinions about functionality.

The black sclera eyes are available for vampires and spellcasters, however, since they seem to be a dark form modification to normal vampire eyes, they are not available for unlocking the way I unlocked the normal versions. I will continue to look into it.

Does this makes townies randomly have occult eyes or only those you choose in CAS?

Unless EA screwed with coding (they've done weirder), townies have only default eyes for their occult type until they're edited in CAS.

I actually want the opposite - I hate the default alien eyes - I would like my aliens to have normal human default eyes - is there a way to do this please?

In theory it can be done, by unlocking normal eyes for aliens. I'll take a look once I get my computer back from the shop.

Hi! I was really excited to use this mod as a workaround for a spellcaster toddler/child that kept switching eyes from his vampire ones. When he aged into a teen, he no longer had my vampire default eyes, but instead the EA eyes for that color (the red eye with black sclera). I also couldn't change his eye color at all - the options simply weren't there, though they were for other family members. In CAS with a brand new human sim, selecting alien eyes or vampire eyes uses the original EA eyes rather than my defaults, though mermaid eyes use my defaults. With a brand new spellcaster, eye color can't be changed. I removed all my mods except this one and my defaults, and this held true. When I removed my defaults too, the spellcasters' eyes in CAS can be changed. It seems it isn't playing nice with the defaults or vice versa. Do you have any idea of a way around this? Although he's a teen now and doesn't need it as a workaround for missing kid eye rigs anymore, he has a little sister that I would like to continue to use this mod for. Either way, thanks for creating it and please let me know if you need more info.

These pictures show him with the mod in on the left and mod out on the right.

It's probably a conflict with the custom eyes. This mod is not set up or able to use default replacement eyes. I'd need the defaults you're using to check and see, and the mod maker's permission to mod them if it is something I can fix.

Is the normal human eyes for aliens included in the "All Eyes For Every Sim" or do I just need both packages?

Just quick question before I install this. New Sims. Will they get these eyes? For instance, is there a risk of newly spawned Sims in the townie/npc pool to get eyes that is not for their species so to speak? For instance an ordinary 'human' Sim to pop up with vamp eyes or alien ones? Or a mermaid with alien eyes and visa versa?

Unless EA messes with coding for eyes, no, townies and NPCs won't spawn with them. If you do get random townies popping up with them, let me know because it shouldn't do that.
If you DO want your townies to have them, you'll have to edit them in CAS.

HOWEVER, they do sometimes pop up in randomly generated Sims in CAS when you create new Sims. That's normal, you can choose a new eye color as usual.
