Portable Gaming Rig

I love the animations of Sims playing in virtual reality, but I hate, hate, hate those clunky, ugly mats that never go with any room I build. So I tried to fix that.

This is the VR Gamer Portable, a gaming rig that you can stuff in your Sim's pocket and don't have to look at when designing rooms. It has the same stats and functionality as the cheaper gaming rig. This does not function off the grid, same as the others.

Known Problems

• It floats when in active use. This is a feature, not a bug!

I can't be bothered to learn how to do weight transfers and I think it looks cool for a projector.

• The thumbnail when in the Sim's inventory does not match the thumbnail in the build menu, so it looks very far away and small.

I don't know why that happens. I gave the object a custom thumbnail but it gets overridden when in the inventory for some reason.

There are no (other) known bugs, so if you come across any hiccups with this mod, please let me know!


Additional Credits:
This was made using Blender, GIMP, and Sims4Studio.

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the File tab to see the download link. Click the link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) to extract the file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Cut and paste the file(s) into your Mods folder

• Windows XP: Documents and Settings\(Current User Account)\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\
• Windows Vista/7/8/8.1: Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\

Need more information?

• Anyone can use both .rar and .zip files easily! On Windows, use WinRAR.
• If you don't have a Mods folder, just make one.
