These look very nice, especially the stove. Never heard of a "gas" fridge, An ice-box (that cooled with a large block of ice) and those new-fangled electric fridges but never a gas one. Any way am DLing and glad to see your still creating for Sims 2!

Just can't wait to create a small country town for these kitchen items. I grew up in the early forties and we had this sort of kitchen when I was small. Thanks for the memories.

I would still love to do a true ice-box, just need time, and more time!

What do you mean does anything "open"?

Are you talking about does the refrigerator open? Does the oven open?

The refrigerator opens like any refrigerator..the oven door opens like any oven door.

Not sure what else one would be asking about,

Yes, Windows user can.

The entire set was created, packaged, compressed, and uploaded completely on Windows 10, so the statement "window users can't open this file" is not accurate.

More likely your download transfer (from site to your system) didn't complete fully, which can easily occur on a site as busy and visited as this one is. Try re-downloading. Let it finish downloading completely. Then extract it.

The file package "here" is not damaged, thus there is nothing to "please fix". I have downloaded it myself, then extracted it, all with no problems whatsoever, ON windows 10.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract: Use WinRAR (Windows) or Stuffit (Mac) to extract the .package file(s) from the .rar or .zip file(s).

3. Place in Downloads Folder: Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Downloads folder:
Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads\

I have just come back to Sims 2 after years. I am relearning how to manage it. I'm pretty sure the problems I am having are my fault, but it is confusing. For instance, though I installed both the stove and the refrigerator the same, only the stove shows up. I deleted them and then reinstalled. Same problem. I have read Installing for Fracking Idiots, but still have this problem. If anyone has any idea what I should do differently, I would appreciate the help.

This is one of my favorite sets for TS2! Would you ever consider converting this for Sims 4?

This is a lovely set and I have it in one of my founding family homes. Unfortunately, it seems there is an issue with the stove. No one can clean it when it gets dirty. I can set the dirty state via cheats, so it's not a deal-breaker but I thought I would post in case anyone was having the same issue.
