Have you ever just been playing the Sims, everything is going well, you get up from the computer for five seconds to get a drink, only to come back to find half the family has died and the house is now on fire?

Well I decided on a whim that I wanted to take one of the most common household disasters in the Sims universe and create something special from it! The result is a massive two story mansion that has been horrendously burned to the ground leaving little behind other than the right wing of the house and mountains upon mountains of rubble and still burning debris. Remnants of charred furniture and appliances can be seen in the various ruined rooms, along with the crumbling and charred architecture that i'm sure used to look lovely. Luckily, the blaze was eventually put out, and even luckier, a small portion of the house was spared. The family room, a single guest bedroom, and the upstairs bathroom were the only rooms left intact after the rest of the mansion fell. The backyard pool area was also luckily saved as well, and conveniently, includes a full outdoor kitchen.

While there may not be much left of this once beautiful home, the house IS still livable. I didn't necessarily design this lot to be used as an actual house, but perhaps more of a neighborhood accent or a set piece for all you machinima makers out there! Anyway you use it, it was still a fun and unusual build to create and I hope you all have fun finding use for it in your neighborhoods! And as always, it is 100% Store and CC free! Happy Simming!

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Just with “testingcheatsenabled” and “buydebug on”. Was able to use the debug rubble piles and toggle the furniture to its “charred” state that would happen if it caught fire in game

Is it okay if I make a version of what the house looked like before the fire and upload it here? It will be built from scratch.
