Ever wanted to rent this AirBNB house? How about moving your Sims into it? It features in Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo, part of the Legacy volume of The Gerosha Chronicles in Dozerfleet Comics, so why not?

Real world house history and specs

1011 E. Wellington St. in Sault Ste Marie, ON is a house with a slightly interesting history, but it's a great getaway for any Canadian that needs to stay in Sault Ste. Marie for not too terribly much money.

Located in the Algoma District, it is near the Zion Lutheran Church not too terribly far from downtown on the Canadian side. It is also very close to the intersection between Wellington and Simpson.

In-universe, it was being used as an AirBNB as early as 2014. In real life, it was sold to a "Wilberty" from Guarulhos, Brazil some time between late 2018 and early 2019, and has been in operation as an AirBNB since then.

In Anarteq: Guardian of the Soo, Isitoq "Izzy" Sundue (Anarteq III) stayed here to work from October 10th - December 3rd of 2015, while obtaining a cover job as a tour guide. He hosted tours on both the US and Canadian sides for tourists off season for the boat tours, particularly in November. After a week of training, he covered the boat tours on the US side of Sault Ste. Marie for the Soo Locks Tour package until the season finally ended at the beginning of November.

Of course, this was all a cover job. He possessed an intact Abdygalis Compass, unaware of what its true purpose was. His mentor back in Yellek (near North Bay), Nanaouk, had tried to protect several Order of the Oraphim-important Abdygalis Compasses from falling into the wrong hands - particularly, those of any member of the Triumvirate (Arfaas' Hebbleskin Gang, Rappaccini's Society of the Icy Finger / Screwwworms, or the Phaletori. Or lesser satellites like the terrorist group controlled by Halal Affadidah.) However, the monster known to most only as Wishpon (a man-beaver hybrid named after the Wishpoosh of Chinook folklore) we sent after the Abdygalis Compasses - fully aware that they point toward the nearest Abdygalis Shard.

With help from Donte "Emeraldon" McArthur from Evansville, IN, Izzy (the current Anarteq) was able to ensure that Wishpon only made off with a damaged compass. Nanaouk sends Emeraldon back home on standby to clean up the mess from the Screwworms' attack on Evansville, and to bury his mother who was killed in the attack. Along the way, he is interviewed by a news crew about the mysterious centipede heroine that helped restore order at the Old National Events plaza. He suggests calling this unnamed heroine "Ciem," and explains why. The press adopts that moniker, and begins asking: "Who is Ciem?" Not long afterward, Candi Flippo of Gerosha (Boonville) adopts that as the official secret identity title for her alter-ego.

Yet, Nanaouk also notes that in spite the compass that Wishpon made off with being damaged, it still generally pointed in the direction of Sault Ste Marie. Izzy is given an intact compass, again without immediately explaining what it's for, and is sent to keep an eye out for Screwworm activity in the area. As his cousin, Jissika "Nemara" Sundue, finally explains to him in November after running away to fill him in / back him up; they need to recover an Abdygalis Shard located somewhere in the St. Mary's River - before Rappaccini's minions do!

Izzy becomes complacent, using his cover job as a way to add to his resume and gain real-world work experience that will let him earn his own money - instead of relying entirely on funds wired from the Order. It takes him a while to process the urgency of his mission, even after his cousin explains to him what Nanaouk failed to. This leads an impatient Jissika to take matters into her own less-experienced hands - which ends with her getting beaten up by Wishpon, abandoned without her passport on the US side, and arrested. A quick visit to her in jail, and Izzy realizes that it's time for Anarteq to spring into action.

However, Izzy's laziness and Jissika's recklessness have made Wishpon aware that the were-salmon is on his tail. The race is on. Rappaccini needs that Shard to open up the Multiverse, since his only other Earth option was destroyed in Romania by the fight between the angel Cherinob and the demon Kritchobol. A desperate Wishpon unleashes a small army of Qalupaliks on Sault Ste Marie to keep Izzy busy, and uses some detective work to figure out where Izzy is staying. He ransacks the AirBNB house and finds the intact compass - but not before Izzy figures out where the Shard is located!

Yet, it'll take a big drill - or a big bomb! - to get the Shard from beneath the International Bridge! Wishpon is helping the Screwworms build a massive bomb capable of blowing up the St. Mary's River. It'll be up to Anarteq, Emeraldon, and the US Coast Guard to stop Wishpon and the Screwworms from getting their hands on their key to the Multiverse - before the Soo goes kaboom just to get the Shard!

TL;DR version: Anarteq rented this house for the duration of the story's timeline.

Update 6/9/2020: The second story window can now be fine-tuned, thanks to the patch for Eco Lifestyle. However, I'm not planning a new build for here. If you're a stickler for accuracy, however, the window can be fine-tuned manually with moveobjects.
