Awesome. I have some sims who were born on an off-the-grid lot, so it didn't make sense for them to get tense when it's all they've ever known! Thank you!

TYSM for making this!!! I've been so irritated by those buffs, bc as someone who's lived off the grid during childhood, they're not even accurate. For example, the water isn't lukewarm usually because there's nothing to warm it but sun, so it's FREEZING COLD, even in summer. If they're gonna make buffs like that, I wish they would at least be accurate-- like they could always consult someone who HAS lived off the grid, ya know?? Hell, they could've even added functioning solar panels for bougie off the grid Sims that want hot showers... Makes ya think.

Wow, thank you soo much for this. Now I can use the off-grid trait without these awfull moddlets.

So instead of hours of self doubt and suffering our sims will now feel a momentary regret that they had to use a tiny amount of water, before remembering that they're collecting it for water their plants. Seems reasonable to me :-)

This is great and all as a temporary fix, but I feel like what we really need is a trait, or reward trait, that either disables or reverses this. Like a nomad trait or survivalist trait, that'll disable or reverse these buff. For example, if you're a survivalist, you should get positive moodlets instead of negative ones. Because what we have now just doesn't make any sense.

Thank you so much! The excessive, uncomfortable buffs were very annoying!

I grew up almost off grid (electricity but no plumbing,) and I even knew better and still liked it out there! Thank you for working on this!

Thanks for making this. Only if I can use something like this successfully, will I try Off the Grid living again, because yes, having Sims made perpetually miserable by it made me wonder why they bothered making it an option at all.

Does this still work with patch 1.82.9?
