After playing with this mod for a while I think it needs to cap skill gaining, because even though is nice to gain logic by playing videogames it feels weird that you can eventually master the skill by doing so, in other words you can top the science career just by playing pinball or fully learn mechanic just by playing darts. If the mod could somehow allow the ability to gain skills up to only 2 points, that would be great so those totally unlearned sims could benefit from it but experienced sims won't.

I think this is a wonderful idea--I will not be using this mod otherwise.

I also agree with this.
In case Simler is not interested in capping the skill gaining, then they should at least make an alternate version that removes the Logic skill gain from pinball machines, videogames and computer.

I've been using this for a while and just noticed today that when the creativity skill bar from playing with the dollhouse gets filled and you get the message that a skill point was gained, the creativity skill doesn't actually increase and the progress towards the next level just resets. I haven't noticed this with any other objects, but it happened twice with two separate kids using the dollhouse (the second was a test). Does anyone else get this or is something weird happening in my game? I doubt this mod will ever be updated at this point, so this is just something to be aware of.
