Thank you
...and you are welcome!
This house has a completely different type of basement than the others - for this one you need to use Moo's Grid Adjuster (linked in the OP) ...and she has tutorials on her post explaining how to use it. Good Luck!

Omg. Those closet nook in pink room is creepy! I know it's just a game, but everything happens if you fit it to reality! It's worst kids nightmare! and also it's visible from every point of the room. You probably know that, cause you have kids too. I should add here a door, cause original house has it, and keep it closed.
Ty for your series. Vic ^_^

Vic - Creepy? Really? ...well, I guess if monsters live in your closet? I was thinking when I built that closet around the stairwell - what fun it would be if I was the little girl who lived here, because that would be my secret realm back in there. Not to mention that it butts up next to my little brothers room so I can terrorize him in the night without Mom and Dad knowing about it... Wait! I see! Are you a little brother, Vic? Did something scratch/knock at your wall in the night? Mwa-ha-ha-ha

I love this one, especially that little nook. I can imagine a secret doorway into the other room too And after all these years I've finally downloaded the grid adjuster - gotta have a go with it now!

Oh! What fun that would be

I recommend learning the GA in an empty/new game. You will be exiting/restarting the game countless times! Follow Moo's tutorials and you'll do great - count the grid lines, not the squares. Have fun!

I absolutely love the home but I have an issue. The foundation is unusable because of the single step. Is there a way to raise up the foundation and keep the basement?

The download includes HL's Simple Passage Modular stairs which are absolutely necessary to use a 1-step foundation.
And, they need a script file (which is linked in the OP) to install correctly.
If you did not install the Simple Passage stairs before opening the lot, please demolish the lot.
Install the stairs.
And re-install the lot.

Have fun!

I realized all of that too late and I rebuilt the house and made it a couple of squares larger.

Good - I'm sure your sims will enjoy the extra squares of living space. These 1920's house plans are small!
I don't know how families lived that small back then.
