Have you noticed that the latest newer counters do not have any backsplash? I guess EA finally realized that most nobody wants those stupid backsplash lol.

Yeees! And it can’t help but make me happy)) I think that backsplash thing was a trend of 90th or maybe 00th design? I'm still considering if it's worth redoing the other counters without backsplash in a similar way - because I'm irritated by the holes when building complex kitchens that go from the wall to the island, and the freestanding counter models are deeper)) At the moment I use TOOL to avoid those holes (gaps??), so haven't decided yet

Oh? I never noticed it but maybe it’s because I’m not a big of a kitchen builder or a builder in general. There is a solution though; just STOP building complex kitchens.

I've been using plasticbox's and then your version of these for so long now; they are absolutely delightful and I am horrified at the thought of doing without them.
I just had to thank you (again? I can't remember) for picking up where pbox left off and expanding on their work. You are a saint. <3
