Thank you! My sim constantly wants to buy a bee box, and she already HAS a bee box. Maxis should have at least added code to check if the sim already owns an object before rolling up wants to buy it!

I was actually planning to do that in the future! I'm going to remove some more of the Seasonal whims first (like playing in leaf piles) and once I'm done with that this will be the next step. I plan to eventually do a full whim overhaul!

Thank you so much for this! Is there any chance you'd look into the whims about the video station from Get Famous? I have one on the lot for one sim, but about 75% of her children's whims are just "record a video" and "edit a video." You're like 8, we're not doing that.

Oh, thank goodness! This is one of the things that has bothered me with this game; so many whims are so generic for all Sims, that personality traits don't seem to mean anything. Hopefully now they'll get whims that are more based on their personalities. (Maybe? If I'm lucky!)

can i somehow get version 2.0?? i want the record a video and edit a video whims, but i love the idea of removing all those annoying "buy a..." whims.

I was thinking of eventually separating it into base game whims and whims from various packs, so in the future you'll be able to download just the base game and Seasons files and bypass the whims from Get Famous!

well, i just edited yours to basically reenable the video, music and cooking whims, i don't mind those... i think.

so thank you for all the work you did finding the other ones, i had started making my own removing the buy ones and kept finding ones i missed, so being able to start with your mod and edit it was so much easier.

yes! thank you so much for THIS!
"buy a bee box" popping right back up after i dismiss it was getting infuriating.

in my opinion, buy a bee box should only show up if my sim is into gardening and water balloon fights should only be for childish/goofy adults or children.

i mean i'd PREFER to have them for appropriate reasons but im trying to play a "paranoid, loner, genius"

just tired of trying to grind satisfaction points and getting silly whims.

Thank you! I am getting so sick of my Sims always wanting to buy a bee box.
I can't even buy one and put it into the household inventory, no, they just demand another one to be bought.
No more bee boxes!
