UPDATE 2/21/20: The trait has been reworked and updated! Here is what's new:
  • "The Truth Is Out There" moodlet is no longer permanent, instead it pops up while a sim interacts with the Telescope and is now +2 Confident.
  • A new social has been added! It is a Mean interaction called "Insult Non-Believer"
  • Sims with the trait now react to meeting actual aliens! They will receive the "A Real Alien" happy moodlet.
  • Aliens are not that fond of Alien Enthusiasts. If your alien sim has to be around one, they will get the "So Annoying" tense moodlet until either they or the offending sim leave.
  • Sims should no longer reset when using trait socials
I am planning on adding new moodlets related to being abducted and carrying an alien baby. I hope you enjoy this trait!

UPDATE 02/20/22 It has been reported that the trait's socials are causing sims to reset. I have been planning on reworking this trait for a while now and it will be updated soon.

Introducing the Alien Enthusiast trait! Alien Enthusiasts are crazy about little green Sims. They love talking about aliens and dreaming about space. Sims with this trait get 3 new Friendly socials, 1 Mean social, and 3 new positive moodlets. They will also get whims related to interacting with the Rocket and the Telescope. It is highly recommended to put an Alien Enthusiast in the Science career!

This trait is located in the Hobby category in CAS.

Your Sim can only share their Area 51 theories with someone they are close with. (Relationship must be at +50)
