I'm so excited to see more people doing sets like this! I love Meetme's tourists and island locals and had been hoping others might start doing things like this as well. I already have the Tricous because I'm using Meetme's cleaned Downtown that includes them, but I just wanted to let you know that I really am excited to see sets like this and I hope to see even more in the future!

Would it be possible to make Dina? I can't find her anywhere and she is not in the body shop either. She has a sister called Nina.

Yayy! Thanks for putting this together! I'm sure many people will find this useful! :lovestruc

Though, I just wanted to let you know that you don't necessarily have to make it a downtown subhood. Downtownies have their own specific townie group which is completely separate from the original townie pool. (There are a few more groups ie. Service NPCs, Garden Club Members, Strays, Hobby Instructors, Apartment Life Social Group Members, Tourists, etc.)

Meaning, changing the subhood type from Downtown to Shopping District wouldn't affect the downtownie pool. They'd still be classified as downtownies, even if you add the subhood as a Shopping District to a neighborhood. So, you may want to include a Shopping District version as well, since the game doesn't let you have multiple inhabited Downtown subhoods by default.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it and hope you enjoy the other sets that I intend to post eventually! The Tricou's are tricky because half the family is alive and half the family is dead. If I can manage to figure out a safe way to delete sims like Meetme does with their clean templates, I would absolutely include a version of this that does not include the teens, that way everyone can download them, even if they already have a version with the Tricous

Not sure if this is serious or...? Lol, anyway, if you're looking to just get Dina there are many ways you can do this. I'm sure someone somewhere has posted just her for download, but if not you should ask how you can extract her in the help forums here on MTS. Currently, I am not interested in just extracting/posting Dina. Sorry

Hi Jawusa!

Absolutely! Super happy you like it! I was not aware that they wouldn't lose their Downtownie tag/classification if I made it a Shopping District - that's good to know! Thank you! I originally did it as a Downtown subhood not only because I wasn't sure if they would lose their classification, but also just for ease of adding them since they are under the "Downtown" menu in the game. However, now that I know this I will definitely make a version that is a Shopping District so players don't have to follow the tutorial and can just easily add them to their games

Thanks again!

Thank you. There are a couple of downtownies I have grown fond of, and I miss them

Thank you so much, this is an awesome download. I didn't know this was even possible. I hope you're ok with me asking this, but... How did you do this? Is there a tutorial out there? Because I would love to make a few similar ones, for example containing the dormies from the universities and the apartment townies from the AL stealth hood. I figure, if I do those once, then it saves me a lot of work in the future. Because I really love using clean templates, but I also love the townies a lot.

Hi! I don't mind you asking at all! At the very end of the description I give credit to the original simmer who discovered this along with the forum from which they posted it, I can't be bothered to screw around with the linking stuff here in the comments but if you go back to the description and scroll down, you'll see them there

Hi

Obviously, the subhood version did contains some sims in the bin. (Rainelle Neengia, Jon Smith Tricou with Jennicor Tricou, Kvornan Tricou and also Kiernan Tricou, plus 6 different woman, who i think meant to be the mothers of the orphans!)

So im not sure it's mean't to be this way, or what am i not understanding? Is it possible, you forgot to add the information, that the subhood version still includes them?

Hi, Mike! I've added the downtownies, and obviously the game generated SDSC's and SDNA's for them (not SWAF's though, but I guess they'll get it when spawned). However, it seems Mrs. Crumplebottom also got a newly generated DNA. Is it OK for her to have it? It didn't affect the objects.package in any way but still (I get it when PT has a DNA since that's part of the game mechanic)...
