Thank you! Much appreciated! I don't use it often, so I forget those missing strings until I use it again and wonder if I broke something.

Thanks for fixing this.
I would love to convert this into parchment and a quill for the many of us who play Historical games. *Puts modding glasses on and starts messaging ppl*

Thank you for this fix ...I would like to ask you if would be possible to recreate these mods/fixes... at least that first one (https://bit.ly/3CyBZHF). I am searching for them several years and can't find them anywhere. :/

@Hanz96 That sounds like a tuning mod to me, so if someone has the file it should still work fine. Maybe try asking in WCIF in case someone has it or knows an alternative download link.

Thank you. My Sims use it all the time - I dislike having computers in the house, since they always want to play noisy games - LOL.

Hi, I love your scribbling pad and the concept. I was just wondering .... I have a caveman neighborhood and I was wondering if there was a way that you could make your scribbling pad look like a rock or a piece of fabric / scroll. It would work great in the caveman eras ...... medieval eras ..... pirate eras.

Hello there. Thanks for doing this. So, I wanted to report something. Writing comic books also show up on the writing sub menu. The interaction shows up blank, and it doesn't work at all, unlike other missing interactions where they actually worked, just with a missing text. I assume it still doesn't work, I haven't checked it with this version of the mod, and considering the interaction still shows up as empty string and the lack of mention to that in the mod description, I just assumed it doesn't work.

Anyway, I implemented a "fix" in the sense that it basically skips past comic books in the for loop. So I wanted to post it here. I don't know if you will check here zoe22, so if you do, feel free to update the main mod with this upload, or if you want to implement the fix yourself, it is like one line anyway and it would be better to do that to avoid misc. errors that could potentially occur with decompilation. This is the first time I ever used dotPeek so I don't trust it completely . Or even better, you could maybe make comic books functional? I would try to do it myself, but I would rather not touch Computer.cs with a ten-foot pole. I jumped from really nice ASP.NET Core dev to Unity engine dev recently and I have PTSD from game scripts written in C# lol. Also this is the first time I ever made a script modification for TS3, I doubt I am ready to jump from one line if condition to that

I also attached what I did in a screenshot alongside the modified mod. I doubt you need me to post that one if line, but I did it anyway.

Thanks for your awesome work

Ohh interesting! I haven't actually played with comic book writing in game so I don't know how it works or why it wouldn't work. So I will look into it and hopefully find a fix to make it functional
If not, I will update it with your fix - I appreciate you figuring it out!

I only figured out the fact that comic books exist because of this mod btw I was going crazy while testing, like one Sim has the empty string interaction, the other does not, both are level 10, and you cannot finish the interaction to look at the skill journal to learn which genre it is because the interaction itself is broken etc. It turns out you need to have painting + writing at the same time for this option to show up. And the interaction is not actually under the Writing sub menu on the computer which is why I never actually noticed it in the first place.

Anyway, rambled too much. Thanks a lot for taking a look into this. Lots of love

This is so much better than a laptop for my teen and YA sims to take about town with them--way more atmospheric and believeable to have them pull out a notebook and start writing in it.
