Awesome job on this one!! It reminds me of a renaissance faire I went to in 2019. My cousin Marlene was working there. It was a lot of fun! I should download it for my game sometime! :lovestruc:

I was just thinking of this kind of lot the other day since Ren Faire season is upon is and while watching a Twitch streamer play a medieval hood and thinking how clothing cc could be utilized in a contemporary hood. Wonderful work as always, I love the log rolling activity used in this scenario.

This would be great for my Pleasantview Epic Challenge when the town is a little bigger as a community hangout though with cash registers replaced by the Simlogical ones that don`t generate NPC's as well as not having the restraunt until later when it's added back in.I can use medevel versions of food replacators instead. It's also going into my MCC,apocalypse challenge and it can show up in other towns as a novelty.

Great job! Nice usage of the castle-themed items from Family Fun Stuff, too.

@LauraBow Thanks! Of all things, that set might actually be most responsible for inspiring this lot- it's fun, but it's so hard to work into things since it's so unabashedly cheesy and clearly modern, but at the same time clearly medieval. A ren faire is really the only place for it!

You never cease to amaze me, @Zarathustra! Another beautiful creation! Your builds always draw me so deeply into the many possibilities of the game and get my brain boiling over with inspiration. The Sims 5 folks should bring you onboard. Your work is fantastic!!

This lot looks amazing, but every time I try to enter it, my entire came crashes. My game works perfectly in every other way so I'm not sure what's going on. I have UC and graphics rulemaker 2.0 configured just right. Is there something I'm missing?

Sorry to hear that! There shouldn't be any weird configuration needed so far as I'm aware, since this is only using EAxis content that you should already have if you've go the UC. The only thing I can think is that if you've got a lower-end GPU it may just have trouble with the amount of stuff and the number of NPCs this lot generates.

Hi there! Thank you so much for answering my post! I have an Acer Nitro 5, which is considered a gaming laptop. I can play Frostpunk on Steam, so my GPU is fine. Apparently, I can't enter any of your lots (I've tried several). I never get error messages, the game just quits and I'm suddenly staring at my desktop. Weird. Would L.O.V.E. to use these lots! Do you think the problem would show up in the log file? I'm not very good at reading them, but perhaps I should post it here under "spoiler" so you can take a look?

EDIT: Here is the first part of the log. My sim tried to go there by taxi, and it just crashed. I've never had this problem before with other downloaded lots. I hope we can figure this out!

Sorry, this is where you get into the technical aspects that I' can't even pretend to understand, let alone offer informed suggestions- you're going to be better served by bringing this up in the forums more generally!

Assuming you're going there with it as an owned lot, yeah, you'll have to hire most staff (the firedancer and mountain-theme outdoor restaurant chef should still spawn). If you're just sending Sims there with it zoned as an unowned community lot and you're STILL not seeing NPCs generate though, then you'll probably want to bring it up in the help forums.

Thanks! This is a really cool lot, and despite having an old laptop from 2017 (its not a gaming one) it still runs fine, theres small lag here and there but its more than playable.
